Environmental\PH Controllers need suggestions

Hi everyone, My caregiver told me to help him find the best Environmental Controllers he can buy. I dont know much about the subject and he works 2 other jobs and doesnt have time to do research so I am doing it for him.

Is there any out there do Co2, humidity, temp and PH levels? or is environment and PH 2 seperate controls?

I found sentinel's CHHC-1 to be really nice but it does not do PH levels.

He says money is not really a object and I told him he was crazy. If you guys can think of anything please let me know.

I have a CHHC-1, and I love it. Environmental controllers are primarily for Temp, Humidity and CO2, from what I understand. There is an automatic PH adjuster that uses the same technology as the enteral feeding nutrition industry that I work in, you have tubing and stick it down in the PH UP/DOWN. It constantly monitors your PH and adds PH UP or DOWN depending on the current level and keeps you locked in the desired range. I have to change my res water once per week, and the PH doesn't seem to drift any for me & my RO water comes out at 6.0 on the dot.

Hey thanks for the response hwy420, I think the chhc-1 looks really solid. Have you hooked it up to a computer to monitor it, that was one feature he was really stressing that he wanted.

Actually, i've been wondering how to hook it up to my PC. I noticed is had an S232 port or something, but I didn't receive a computer cable with the CHHC-1, but it shouldn't be too difficult to hook it up to a computer and if software isn't provided, it's not that difficult to write a quick program to interpret the data it is sending; If there's no software provided, manufacturers generally provide the engineering data/schematics for a DIY connection. I wish I could see what my temps are right now. That computer connection is really an awesome thing, I just gotta figure out how to use it, if you find out lemme know. I haven't gotten my CO2 tank yet lol, but i'll get one soon, and if I find out how first, i'll let ya know.

I noticed when I was looking it said the cable is optional. I am very interested in making it work for him cuz its only helping my meds out. Please keep me informed on anything you find related to it as I am pretty sure he is gonna pull the trigger and order it today.

Where did you get yours from and what was the price if you dont mind me asking.

The lowest price I found at the time was on Ebay. I think 500$ or maybe a little more. Cool, well if the computer cable didn't come standard, i'll probably need to order the cable and software separately, which will happen very soon for me. I'll just have to wait to find out, ttyl

Does anyone know of any other controller that has good Computer connectivity?

Wow, talk about ironic - I was going to start a thread today asking if anyone knew how to connect the Sentinel to a computer and what program was necessary to see the output.

Clearly I don't know the answer, but I can verify that the Sentinel is the shit.

Not that I can think of; did a lot of research beforehand and concluded that the CHHC-1 was not only the simplest model to use, but also the cheapest (by several hundred dollars) model that had all the functionality that I was looking for - it couldn't be easier, plugged my heater, dehumidifier, ventilation fans, and CO2 into it, and it does the rest.

Highly, highly recommended.
