Colas smell like hay/wet grass!!! wtf!

Im freaking out.........Just pulled my plants out today to have a look.

Ok on 2 of them the main colas do not smell like bud, like the bottom budsites do. They smell almost like hay haha. Im only on week 6...... are my top colas done?? Here ima post a few new pics.. tel lme what you think because when I LOOK into the microscope I see alot of cloudy with a few amber I think. I hope this hay smell goes away..

so i just picked the tinyest piece off the top of the 2 big ones and it litteray smells like wet grass. No signs of mould or anything like that. Tops are dry..

Im kinda freakin out cuz the bottom budsites smell fucking amazing then the colas dont really smell at all nothing but like hay/wet grass. is this......... normal ??


ps: hairs have turned red/gold and there are no more white pistils on the tops of the colas really.. they are residing.

do they LOOK done?

its the cholorophyl releasing from the plant. Just make sure you dry it properly or else you'll trap the chlorophyl in there and it will continue to smell that way.

i know! lol no its just because like the lower/mid buds smell fucking incredible then I smell the colas and they straight up smell like HAY or wet grass.

Question though, when I look in the microscope i honestly think I see like 60% cloudy 30% clear and 10% amber.

I just wana get this right is all.

i mean im seeing like alot of cloudy/amber on the colas.. but middle/lower plant i see mostly clear.

Dude...bud never spells nice unless it's done, by done, I mean, grown = done, dry = done, cure = done.

With all these done well, you will bring out the best potential of your strain.

I've had AK47, (which usually smells like a gorilla's ass) not smell much until after curing, then that heavy, oily, spicy goodness really came out of the bud.

Time....sweet time....

really? Its just weird because the middle and lower plant smell sooo sweet and gooey just incredible. But then the cola smells like wet/grass hay.. kinda freakin me out.

Yes.. well i mean I got my 439CFM exhaust fan...... and I had a boxfan in the tent but took it out a few days ago because it was drying up the colas... they were getting dry. Took it out and there not AS dry

anymore.

and my tent has flaps on the bottom for negative pressure. so always new air coming in im sure.

sounds like you have a real tent system so it sound work. mines in a big closet. the dudes right about the dry/cure thing. just make sure its not humid or something

It's completely normal for the lower buds to be less developed. They don't the get the kind of light that the top of the plant does.

Like said before though, I wouldn't worry too much. I would just make sure that your drying/curing goes well and you will be smoking some of the kind in no time.

so even though the top colas are dry and smell like hay I should leave them on until when???????? I mean errr lol honestly its kind of confusing looking in the microscope its hard to tell if they are milky or clear.

you got a little longer look out for red ones then harvest when there 40 50 % red. when its dried it should lose the wet smell. theres not much i know of to physicaly do to the colas

do you think i should start flushing now... then harvest the colas in like a week and a half.. then leave the others to mature more?

you colas are hardly developed

this is when they pack on all that weight in the last weeks

be pateint and when bud is wet it does smell good

the bud wet should usually smell like it will after a good cure so i do not know what is up with your colas but i would just smoke a jay and forget about them

stop dwelling on it and wait for that FLUSH that you did a couple days ago to help them

ya see first grow so.... not sure what to expect.

All i konw is the middle/lower buds smell fucking incredible and are wet adn sticky. But the colas are dry and smell like hay.

I will leave for a few more weeks.. I guess i mean i still think I see alot of cloudy trichs but fuck it is kind of confusing to tell clear from cloudy.

I have a 4 gall 400watt(hps and I'm using advance nutrients if I follow the right feeding schedule I should be fine as far as the nuggs smelling like herb right and when harves tips bro last time I harvested it smelled like grass all the way bro i tried curring it but I trimed it right after o cut it then let th dry for 8 days then Jared them anything I did wrong ? And I flushed in regular ph regulated water good nuggs but no quality u feel=•{ especially the dank smell wasent there but that was the previous harvest it I really didn't have a feeding schedule but thus time I'm using advance nutrients =•}
