hm thankyou. Ya i don't really know what the leaves are mad about i didn't really think much of it cause i have been doing everything pretty right and its only on that one, hm ohwell. the preflower is probably just my wistful thinking and some random micro growth i dunno

ya for sure i am now, i had them in 16oz cups from day one so i may have overwatered them a couple times during that period. that does seem like it may be the most likely culprit

Gotta agree with the above post --- looks like either A) Nothing is wrong, or B) You have a SLIGHT PH issue. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you're leaves aren't discoloring too much.
But then again, I'm new to this too, so what the hell do I know?!?!?!?!?

well no doubt it could be a ph issue but i had the same prob and my leaves looked exactly the same and my ph is fine and the one time i did notice the leaves like that was the one time i felt i gave them a bit to much water but hey who da hell am i to kno wat your problem is? hahaha

What is the temp of the air comming form that fan? It looks like maybe it is a heat problem. It is only on the lower older fans. When I had ph problems it showed up in the upper fans IMO it's because they are sucking more from the medium while they are growing. They look good though, I wouldn't change much. 'Just my two cents'

T, be patient on the pre-flowers... just pay close attention and you will catch the males early enough. It would be better to let them turn for sure than to yank a girl early. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like you will turn out with 2 females and 2 males. Hopefully you get one healthy female from each strain. Are you misting the plants at all? Ideally you should mist them early in the morning (before or right after lights turn on). It looks like a few of the leaves are suffering ... is this from pests, nutrition, or overwatering? As some people have said, make sure you're "cyclying" your plants and letting them dry up and crave the water before watering again. Also, the plants are most active right before the lights come on and they will take up water and nutrients more rapidly if watered early (when the lights first come on). This also goes for the leaves, if you mist them early the leaves will transpire rapidly and increase vigor. Give the plants water only when they need it and try to use aerated filtered or distilled water. If the leaves continue to suffer, consider removing the diseased leaves. Also, are you thinking about FIMming or pinching soon? I think you should top em early so they get bushy and keep a lower profile. As far as the sexing, look to the bible or search online for a picture of male and female pre-flowers, these would be easier to see with a microscope or magnifying glass. How has the temperature been? Are you transplanting again when you sex?
Be patient with the males, but don't wait too long or they might splooge! Keep on Truckin.

having trouble understanding where daddy see's his sex prediction. it is for sure way too soon to see. and by the way, if you are spraying your plants it should be with foliar feed not just water, if it is foliar feed it shouldn't be every day. plain r/o water (which is what you would use, not tap) when sprayed on your plants will leach out the salt based minerals in your plants. the one that is most readily washed out is nitrogen, which is why it is important to spray a mother plant down thoroughly the day before you intend to take cuttings. the reason being, you don't want the nitrogen left around in the cutting, because if it is the clone will try to grow leaves instead of roots. regular spraying of plants with water will leave them deficient of nutrients, unless you crank up the feeding to compensate. humidity is a good thing, but not all that spraying. i use foliar feed twice a week. with liquid light, and penetrator from dutch masters, along with superthrive, and vermitea (compost tea)

Looking good... I have the same issue with some of my lower leaves, but only on 2 plants... and it manifests slightly different on each. I'm not overly worried about it, as 99% of the plant otherwise is healthy, and a little leaf drop off isn't going to hurt anything. I've seen a Magnesium deficiency stated as a cause for leaves discoloring from the middle out (rather than dying from the tips back in)... but can't get confirmation on that.

As for the sexing, not yet... I think you're looking at new leaf growth in that pic... the female trichomes will be unmistakeable when you see them... and the males just look like they've got a pair of balls... Keep it up! :)

That looks like normal branching and growing to me. Not every plant is going the be the same as the last, each grow will bring new knowledge and learning experiences.

haha i have much to ponder. The leaf discoloring remains on the same plant on the same leaves. I do have a heater in the room and previous to a couple weeks a go it was definitely spewing hot air onto them. The particular plant that is discolored is a blue mystic, of which that i hear is a heavy feeder. Hm lights come back on really soon so i should have a closer look. Although spraying them everyday with just water, although not reversed os.. water, has been some what of a thing i have been trying to do i have been sucking at it haha. The reason being is that plants have multiple i guess intakes of water and i have been watering them (by soil ) whenever theyneed it even though the local nurseys soil moisture meter is worthless haha im pretty sure i ahve a good feel for when to water them just based on my previous plant growing experiences. In anycase i got wasted tonight and stupid things happened and once again bitches are biioootches. Additionally. I love you all. Plus rep everone that i can

the temp is hot. it is a cheap 20 dollar fan. Fortunely my setup NOWn allows the fan to difues into the air much better so before it was just 1000watts of instantaneous heat blowing circular to the plants, possilby right on them on more than one stupid night of mine. so it heats the air up to like 70 75ish til it cools to about 65ish. Any suggestions?
