Values based on less taxes, less government influence and control, and less intervention. Conservative's already have disaccociated themselves from the republican party. More and more of them are becoming independents and libertarians. The republican party is not what it used to be. Until it comes back to its conservative roots, I don't think anyone wants anything to do with it.
That's better than what can be said about the democrats. They've gone as far as to attack anyone who disagrees with them. Obama has tripled the defecit since being in office, and Americans are getting sick of paying taxes for things they don't agree with.
