Dad Discovers his Daughters Plant

So I woke up this morning, smoked a bong, and flipped on the news and saw and it was a report on a father calling the cops on his daughter for discovering a plant in her closet. She knew her shit, it was a sick little closet grow with only one plant. Had reflective walls, a 400W HID, i think it was soil, but she knew her shit. I can;t believe her dad called the cops n her. I feel so bad for her, what do you guys think?

thats fucked up. Just talk to her about it in private, punish her in private, why fuckin call the cops on her give her a criminal record and let the news do a story on it? thats his fuckin daughter. is that really what he thinks is best for her?

That is shitty though. How hard is it to just make her pull it up and scold her for it if you're really against it. Some parents think they're doing their kids a favor with things like that.

I feel bad for the girl, but not too bad. it wasn't very smart growing in her parents house without them aware. When I lived with my parents, they would have turned me in for sure if i were that dumb. The girl had to know her parents at least well enough to know how they would react if they found the plant. I'm not saying I would call the cops on my kids, but maybe this girl's parents thought they had no choice after failed at repremanding her. If the girl was a minor than i could see the parents calling the cops as beeing "all right" in the parents minds since it would be exponged when she turned 18. But if she was 18 or older, that seems harsh to turn her in, but again, my parents wouldn't have hessitated so I don't feel too bad for her.

yeah without knowing the past we cant say much. he might have caught her before and told her if she does it again he would call the cops. but in all reality if a father doesnt have enough respect from the children of the household he isnt doing his job right. if my dad asked me to do something i would do it right then and there. maybe her dad was a cop to begin with. who knows. but i would never call the cops on anyone. especially my own children
