quick fem seed question..

im very skeptical about ordering seeds online.. however i started with 20 plants... now im down to 9 after this next cut ill only be looking to keep 1 plant.. its the only female..

now my question is when ordering seeds wood one just go ahead and order the fem seeds.. or is it a good chance that when yu do order most of them are female?? and will it be garunteed that the fem seeds will al be female??

any info is appreciated

If you get regular seeds you should get 50/50. Feminized seeds should be all female but they don't really give guarantees. Your best bet is to go with attitude seeds and get fem seeds from stable old strains. Attitude sells seeds from many seedbanks. I have had good luck with seeds from DNA, Reserva Privada, Barney's Farm and G13. I hear people saying they are having problems with seeds from Nirvana, who knows. Use voucher code 420 for a 10% discount on seeds. And their stealth shipping is worth $11 extra, the t shirts are cool.

I second that. I can also add that so far, my current grow of plants from GHS feminized seeds (well and one freebie fem) are 5/5 female.

I'm more skeptical to your statement than I am buying seeds online. The mathematical unlikeliness of having 19 males out of 20 seeds, makes it almost non-exsit.
It would be interesting to see some pictures of your 'males' - before you toss them.

yeah, that is crazy that you got soo many males out of the bunch.. the only real problem that i have heard about fem seeds is that if you get them from a newer breeder and the seeds haven't been stabilized yet, they may have a tendency to hermie... but i agree with the first poster about going with reputable breaders. dna, serious seeds, sensi, tga subcool, reserva privada, greenhouse, thseeds, barneys, amongst many others..
i have ordered many times from the attitude, and have always been more than please with their service... i usually get the order in a week, and the stealth shipping is worth the extra money for the peace of mind alone..
but i really think that fem seeds are a great thing.. i will only order fem seeds from now on as it is much nicer being pretty sure that i don't have to worry as much about the time and energy put into a plant only to find out that its a male.. this is just my opinion though, and i am sure others may disagree..

Oh it happens - my last grow, out of 20 bagseed, I got 15 males and 5 hermies - only two of which I was able to finish before the bananas got too bad.

bag seed i started 10 plants and only 2 were female. Its awful. I ordered fem seeds and they just went to flower a bit ago. One is female the other hasnt shown either way.
