Here's a new grow:

In dirt,
Blue Mtn. Organics
5-gallon buckets
250 MH
week four of veg
tent--DR 80

One LA Conf. (photo 1) DNA Genetics
Shunk 3 X A2 Hybrid Hermcy Seeds (Photo 2 and 3)

Check out #3 and #4 (same plant)...this plant has something really genetically wrong going on...thought it would straighten out but hasn't yet...may have to dump her! In this photo is she three weeks old. Since then she has grown much wider across, taller and the leaves/nodule are close and thick but still deformed.

thoughts?

I have a girl right now that started out all twisted and mutated, but she straightened out. She is slower in growth compared to my other two girls.

i'll post more next week or if anything changes dramatically. I'm also curious to see what happens. The other two are showing fem pre-flowers so friday is the switch-aroo day to 12/12.

no. the first plant is LA Confidential from DNA Genetics. the other two which included the de-formed plant is from Hemcy Seeds. A strain that is really unique and very nice. called Skunk 3 x A2 a 75% sativa and 25% indica...

here's the write up on it. I first used these about 5 years ago.


This relative new breed from Holland has rapidly gained a marvelous international reputation because of her superb and heavy quality. Some say it's even better than Skunk #1. It has slim leaves and many buds. A high yielding homozygote Skunk that can be grown indoor, outdoor and in a greenhouse. Fantastic taste and high THC-levels.

Did you get that LA Confidential from DNA Genetics from Attitude? I ordered a few seeds from there and got one free fem LA seed. I gotta say, it is by far the best looking plant in veg compared to my other ones (that look very good). Very bushy.. tons of grow points and can take lots of ferts. I just started 12/12 early this week and will let you know how it goes. I vegged for about 8 weeks from seed under a 400W MH. They only got about 10 inches tall but incredible bushes. Good thing though.. I only have 3 feet of vertical space =]

I'm excited about the LA, she is a good smoke...

i travel to AMS once every two years or so and was there in Dec 08 and picked them there at the DNA shop. also some got chocolope seeds and a bunch a bunch of freebies. All feminized!

Aaron gave me what he calls drawer seeds. they are seeds that fall out into the two drawers he kee
ps his seeds in. one drawe for sativa seeds the other for indica seeds. I chose the sativa seeds and he gave me 20 free. they are a mix of whatever fell out into the drawer.

Hemcy has a nice website and some good looking beans...do they ship to the US?

hey,
yes, they carry some older strains that a lot of places don't carry or they aren't that great. Hemcy has good genetics in their seeds, original strain stuff. I bought them via Austria they have or had a shop there. I think they still do. They also carry others seed banks. the one i want to buy is the Inca Spirit...

Checked out theri website and was impressed! The Inca Spirit as well as skunk3xa2 is on my list for my next grow......
Even tho you're listed as stranger here, it does not appear you are a stranger to the world of growing. Hats off to you for your info so far........:bigjoint:

mine at four weeks is around 8 or 9 inches, (6 weeks from seed) but oh so tight with clusters of branches, sprouts and all that good stuff we like to see...

i guess i can see at eight weeks from SEED that they would be around 10" tall. he's right about them being incredible little bushs...they are short and tight little plants.
