ok,
probly a silly question, but can you start growing shrooms from a bag you bought instead of ordering the spores? :dunce:

if im not mistaken u gata have spores none the less, from a syringe, print, mushroom, or whatever u please.
that or live culture but if u just got some dried shrooms i dnt think so

lol he is probably off soaking the mushroom in some water in the dark or something, Eat that shroom dont waste it!! order the spores and be done with it

just like pot, you can clone them.... but unlike pot, you CAN clone them from a bought bag... you wont have 100% success, but it is completely possible. from what i understand, it involves taking some of the flesh from the inside of the stem and growing it in a sterile culture (think petri)....

see - i think it might work..
i actually have no shrooms.. just the notion of possibly growing tons without having to do the mail order thing - see, my family would not be ok with it and i don't want to beg or anything..
maybe i'll do some more intensive searching later on...
