colored cfls for growing?!?! yea i said it.

dispite the many threads in this forum counting out the use of colored cfls for veg/flowering, i want the people who discounted them out to answer 1 question for me. how come u can use a green party cfl for a green light during the night cycle without any effects, but you cant use a red one for flowering or a blue one for veg. i dont use any of them, i just want to hear why people were dissmissing them as a useless cfl. colored led's do just fine, nvm the green cfl for night cycle.

I think the reason people are nay saying on that one is the color (I'm guessing) comes from painting the glass not actual spectrum changes...I wouldn't trust a green party bulb in my flower room at all, idk, look up the Kelvin temps for the bulbs, that will be your answer

They aren't green cfls. They are specifically manufactured lights that do not produce light that a plant can absorb. If you buy a decent bulb, of course you can trust it in your grow room.
