Mushrooms in food, mushrooms in fields, mushrooms on mulch, and even the mushroom as a God. Yes it's safe to say that their was never no bad publicity toward shrooms ;)

Hmmm...I may have to invest in a pressure cooker now lol. In my area caps are soo hard to come by and overpriced when you can actually find a connect.

you don't actually need a pressure cooker as far as I know. I don't have one, and am not planning on using one because the guide I've been studying up on says you can just use a large pot for longer (an hour and a half) and it will sterilize them just as well. So that's what I'm gonna try, will let you guys know if it seems to work.

The pressure cooker just gives you that definite reassurance that it'll sterilize it for you, but their are other ways without going too deep into your pocket ;)

yeah have you ever done it without the pressure cooker? I hope I don't have to buy that. I'm planning on just using a normal pot that I have and filling it with like an inch and a half of water, then boiling it for an hour and a half. Here's what the tek says:

"If you are unable to find or buy a pressure cooker, you can also sterilize the jars using a big pot with a lid.
In this case steam the jars for 1.5 hours in a pot lid on. Use only approximately 1 inch of water at the bottom.
You might have to add some water to the pot during steaming due to evaporation."
