Rapid Rooters

So has anyone used these rapid rooters?? I bought some today and was wondering once i put my germinated seed in them and what i do is fill the plastic cup (which has holes for drainage) up with a quarter of promix and the i put the rapid rooter in the middle of the cup and then i add more promix down the sides and fill in the cup!! Do you have to water them right off the bat or what?? They seem already moist!! Please let me know as im in the process of switching my seedlings into these!! Thanks again!!

I do that, as in yer setup. Then I water the rapid rooter liberally and place a little bit of bark or dirt over the hole then I take anther cup, this one clear and place it over the rooter so as to trap humidity. IT works like a charm. Germs up nice in a few days. First I Soak the seeds over night until I see taproot.

Thats why i put themin the cup of promix as i put a little layer of promix on top instead of the piece of bark!! Thanks dudes!!
