can i freeze some buds for long term storage? I've got over 1 elbow and want to save some for later. If i was to vacume seal and freeze, would it affect the buds? would you be able to notice once thawed out?

Has any one ever done this?

what do you all think???:bigjoint:

i've only done it twice and both times after a lil while outta the freezer it starts tasting stale. also i took it out in batches. open take a quarter reseal. ill never try it again. but again everything seems to be different for everyone.

I believe so, even w/o vacuum sealing it, atleast from my experiences..

Just use a good ziploc baggie and put that inside 2 big ziploc freezer bags... works great.. i've had some in the freezer for 3+ months... It doesn't really have to be thawed, it's smokable right out of the freezer.. smell, taste, high all the same, even after 3 months in the freezer (not vacuum sealed)...

I'm thinking more for resale, will it be funky compared to fresh bud? or is jars going to be better?maybe in the fridge?

dont freeze it man....... it makes the crystals fall off and sometimes gives it a weird taste.....heres the best way......get yourself some glass canning jars....put your bud in them, seal them up and store them in a dark room at room temp or cooler (like in the back of your closet) and thats it.....Ive kept bud for over a year stored this way...when I opened the jar...it was as fresh as the day I jared it.....

I've got some jarred white widow thats just now 3 years old & it tastes & smokes great !
Just remember Cool & Dark.

you know how weed cured for 2 months is obviously better than weed cured for 1 month !!

while when does it quit getting better?like after 1 year was it the same the next year or after 3?

or did it keep getting cured making it better?

It seemed to peak in taste & smokability around the 6th month of cure - and today open a container that has been sealed for over 2 years & its heaven. Perfect Bud.
