How fair is this; I live in an appt complex, and I Work a 6pm till 3am shift, I get home and all I want to do is wind down to some music - I even keep monitor on the volume, nothing too loud, I'm paranoid about bothering people and paranoid about sound when im high so i keep tabs.

These..for lack of a better term 'fuckers' who live down stairs eveeerry day, play cod4 mw2 on there big screen tv loud as shit, rattles my windows sometimes. I can never get a decent amount of shut eye, they obviously go to school and work day shifts. I tolerate it though, why? its the middle of the day!

So, anyways, I'm sitting here on my day off jamming to some tunes and 2am rolls around, so i figure hey ill turn on my headphones, people will be wanting to sleep - this is when TWO cop cars roll in. What the fuck? they've been sitting out there for 44 minutes now, banging on my door, flashing there lights using there fucking walkie talkies n shit, im high as christ and one pissed off guy atm. How much bullshit is this? who calls the cops? what ever happened to banging on the fucking cealing?? this is totally unreasonable, im so pissed off right now.

If those bitch ass kids ever play there game loud enough for me to hear it again, so help me....fuck im mad.

I'm so paranoid - mad about this too, total buzz kill on my last bit of weed - I have a tshirt covering my screen so I can use it while they fucking hawk my window so the light wont shine out. UGH.

It's not so much paranoia out of being high, i got a fucking plant in here, i know they couldn't do shit but still I don't need any damn heat. they sell weed too. I swear if I was any more of an ass I'd fucking rat them out. No words can describe, not paranoia, my RAGE right now.

I'm not mad about them not liking the noise, granted if i was too loud, fuck I'm sorry, my bad, but be an adult about it.
I'm awe stricken about how it was handled. I'm prob gonna get a call from my landlord about it too, which is total bullshit.

That and the fact that they fucking had no consideration for my position what so ever, they know I pull night shifts all the time, just like I know they work and need there sleep at night. I'll never use my speakers at night again, but so help me tomorrow if they play, im fucking hardcore stomping the floor to let them know about it.

if you didnt answer the door how do you know why they were there and who called them? or do you live in a house converted to a few apartments and not an actual apartment building?

Well they're gone now, so it shouldn't be an issue anymore. I want to go outside of my door and see if they left anything, but I Don't know what'd I'd do if they were waiting there. they've been gone for a good few minutes.

and yeah, I live in one of those shitty places.

Well, heres the thing. - I consider myself pretty fit, I work out every day, weigh about 210, body fat is 11% *shut up im not bragging, im making a point* now, the one kid wouldn't be able to do jack shit, but his roomate....let's just say he could eat me. Stupid as sin, but he could quite rightly eat me whole. I don't mean in an obese way either. I'd die.

Yeah, I wish. I'm not a violent person. At all.
I can't bring myself to harm another out side of defense of myself or others. It's not within me.

Besides, it won't solve anything. - If my landlord calls I'm just going to be straight up with him about it and say what's going on, I've always respected when people were plain and simple with me; to the point. I'm sure others appreciate this quality as well.

I believe it would be neighborly to bring some brownies over to your downstairs mates.

I would do it for you if I knew you.

I enjoy that kind of stuff because good things happen when you can forgive.

I believe Wavy Gravy did too.

Perhaps if we knew our neighbors, the police would not have to be called.

Good point, I always at least introduce myself to the neighbors on either side of me. We have become so boxed by video games, internet, ant TV that we forget there are REAL people all around us.

I've had similar problems living in apartments it is difficult to live in a small ass box with paper thin walls and 20 neighbors.

Calling the Cops though, that is bullshit. I personally never call the police and I've been in some pretty hairy situations . . .
