Confused about Alternating Nodes

Everything I've read says alternating nodes are a sign of sexual maturity, but I have 4 plants only around 8 inches tall - 2 white widow, 2 afgooey - which have only alternating nodes. (the nodes alternate going up the stem on opposite sides), rather than having opposing nodes at the same height. Is this normal?

I also read that nodes are where the buds form. Am I going to get bud out of these babies?

if they came from female plants you have female clones

yes that shit is normal, because clones tend to branch out much faster and easier then growing from seed, adn like dude said if your worried about sex has long has they were from a female plant your decent

Yeah, the clones are just as mature as the mother.
The mother likely had alternating nodes. As she was likely fully mature.

It's hard to say without a picture, but from your description, I'm not sure you're 100% on what alternating nodes are. Your first nodes will be pairs of leaves, climbing up on alternate sides of the stem, whereas the alternating node is a single leaf only, climbing up alternate sides. Now if you have this, then as stated, it's most likely because you have a mature clone.
