Hey guys,
I've recently bought the below cupboard and am looking for some advice as to best set up my grow. In the 2nd picture I have indicated how I think I should set it up.
Here are the specs: Main compartment 3 x 1.75 x 5 ft (LWH) and the top shelf is 3 x 1.75 x 1 ft. The rez (using DWC) itself is 1ft tall. The top shelf is vented along with the main compartment by two 4 inch passive holes in the shelf. I plan on having a very small mother and clone area in the remaining space on the shelf. The 400W HPS is in a closed circuit ventilation system and cooled by a 275CFM 6inch fan. There would be 2 4inch passive intakes behind the rez.
What do you think? Would you make any modifications?
As you can see there's a reasonable amount of head room (4ft), but I still think a scrog would be best, perhaps using a V shape to try and maximize the available room. Any suggestions here?
I am considering adding flexible silencers to combat the noise problem by just hanging the fans vertically rather than horizontally and having them exhaust through the top of the cupboard. I could disguise the silencers on top with boxes or anything like that.
Does that seem like a decent idea?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers =)
