Greetings:
I am ordering a 4x6 tray and a 6x3 tray (for ebb and flow sog)and am getting mixed info on which size res would be ideal for each.I also wonder if anyone has any preference in resivoirs.
I am looking at the regular botanicare, the botanicare ez drain,or the black abs or grow tek res,but have limited waling space in the room so want a nice clear isle.
Is the ez drain res any better than getting a regular botanicare res and tilting with 2x4s underneith to promote drainage ?
Any help or advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated, bongsmilie

I have a 3X6 table and a 70 gallon reservoir. It's just big enough and I need to make sure it is topped off or the pump starts running air. The 4X6 would probably require a bigger res.

I have a 4x4 tray with a 40 gallon reservoir (filled to 35 gallons).

Bigger is almost always better, so get the biggest rez that you can afford and will fit in your grow room.

And the EZ Drain is better because you're not going to be able to fill a Botanicare on 2x4s very high at all (because of the slant), so you'll lose a large amount of its capacity.
