Effects of 12/12 on autoflower?

I currently have a healthy 3 week young Easyryder (Lowryder 2 X Ak47) grown under CFL lights with a 20/4 schedule and was wondering what the effects would be of switching the light schedule to 12/12. In the autoflower threads people report good results with either 20/4 or 12/12 or even 24/0 during the whole life cycle but there was no clear consensus on how the light schedule will effect the outcome.

no effect, just less production.
autos flower regardless of light cycle so its better to give them more light because this equals more photosysthesis which equals more growth, more bud production

So 24/0 or 20/4 would be the ticket then with auto-flowering strains??????????

yup, although id use 20/4 to allow the plant to have some sort of rest

That also is the recommended schedule from seedbanks and from what I can see the plant loves it

although having said that, i currently have an ak-48 growing which is on 12/12 due to all my other plants not being autos, and the ak is doing great
