Last I checked, Obama hasn't done anything to end the war. So it is now his war, just for clarification.
And thank you to all present and past members of the armed services who are on this forum.
Another clarification, the majority of American's do NOT approve of President Obama...

President Barack Obamas job approval rating has dipped below 50 percent nationally for the first time, as Americans worry about the war in Afghanistan, a new poll released Wednesday found. The Quinnipiac University poll showed 48 percent of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president, compared to 42 percent who disapprove.
The president also scored low marks from Americans on his handling of the situation in Afghanistan, with just 38 percent saying they approved of his approach, but a majority did say it was the right thing for US troops to be in the country.

Just as an affront, what were bushs' polling numbers for the last 7 years of his presidency? The guy at the top always gets the blame for everything, even though a lot of this debacle was caused by congress and the previous occupant of the White house.

While you're arguing partisan politics, the country is now over 100 TRILLION in debt counting the unfunded mandates. Both parties have spent us into oblivion. The TARP bill was presented by the democrates. Only one Repub signed it. All the rest were democrates. So how can the first 'bail-out' be Bushes when all the dems signed and only one repub besides Bush?
And it was a blank check to Paulson. Can you or anyone tell me where the money went? And then tell me who returned how much and who received the returned money AFTER Bush left office..?? Hasn't 700 billion been return to the fed gov from the TARP 'bail-out'? And is the Obama another 700 billion? Or is that the money from TARP?
