For all our Vets! Thank you!

Lincoln - war between the States. Who had the power? States or Federal gov. Lincoln said Gov.

Good point. And they still thing that today.

Which is why some 30 States or so reaffirmed their independent Soveringhty Clauses within the past year.

How many are thinking about telling Uncle Scam to go pound sand??? I know Montanans are. And the Legislature has been affirming as much to the public.

Funny how in the Homeland report- it was all geared toward 'rightwing extremests. Not one word abou the 'left wing radicla/commies'. I find that very revealing.
Thanks for posting the above. Great info.

That lexicon document pretty much labeled the entire citizenry as violent extremests. Pretty much covered everyone. I found my views in there and also the libertarian views. We are all terrorists whenever the government wants to snuff us. Anyone that has a bitch about government is a fucking terrorist

(U) leftwing extremism:

(U//FOUO) A movement of groups or individuals that
embraces anticapitalist, Communist, or Socialist doctrines
and seeks to bring about change through violent revolution
rather than through established political processes. The term
also refers to leftwing, single-issue extremist movements that
are dedicated to causes such as environmentalism, opposition
to war, and the rights of animals.
(also: far left, extreme left)

(U) rightwing extremism:

(U//FOUO) A movement of rightwing groups or individuals
who can be broadly divided into those who are primarily
hate-oriented, and those who are mainly antigovernment and
reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.
This term also may refer to rightwing extremist movements
that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to
abortion or immigration.
(also known as far right, extreme right)
..........

How come Violent revolution is not mentioned regarding the radical right - but only the left?

This is from the http://fas.org/irp/eprint/lexicon.pdf report that Keenly posted above. Also note that the focus in the other report focuses on the right and not on the left.

You are correct it was a war of the states and not a civil war.
Most people think it was a civil war.
