ya bro new equiptment is great, but hooking that shit up, and waiting for s/o 's in limbo suks.. i feel u there bro. so is the white russian by serious, a serious yielder? man i want some good chron, with the most yield potential from attitude....

Yeah that's the one I have. I like it so far. I'm setting it all up this weekend.

Can you do me a favor? I need a picture of exactly how far down I should put the rockwool. I assumed that I would need the bottom third of the rockwool to be sitting in water when flooded, but I saw a diagram the other day that showed the flood waters never reaching the rockwool. Is this correct?

new equipment is fuckin nice.. but your right about all the bullshit that comes along... ill have a busy week or so ahead of me..

white russian is a pretty good yielder.. not the largest.. but not a small yielder by any means... ill tell you that the m. tundra from sagarmartha has been one of the largest yielder, most consistant, and best all around strains i've come across so far... you may want to take a run with it and see what you think..

it took some trial and error for me to figure the system out exactly myself... here is about what i came to the conclusion..

first, you dont want to fill the buckets full.. i only filled mine about 2/3 to 3/4 full with hydroton..

then i basically put the rockwool cube as far down as i could so the the cotyledon leaves were just above the hydroton surface line..

interesting , good back appeal on the MTF too? did u use attitude via sagmartham or wut please elaborate, and how did it grow, and bud deminsions? really want to order the right strain, something fruity with bag appeal, that doesnt take to long to finish, with copious yields and good thc values. want solid nug on the stem no spacing. cant wait till i find her

well.. based on your description i will offer these 2 suggestions..


1) matanuska tundra... this has been the most ideal strain ive grown for the indoor commercial grower.. and something tells me i'll be bringing it back to my grow VERY VERY soon.. i had 2 plants.. both grew identically... roughly 18" in 4 weeks... i did some super cropping so the heights stayed lower... the side branches pushed up very nicely and the bushes filled out..

the buds themselves were amazing... nice long buds like you want.. even the single buds were super fat tho.. i ended up with only 7 grams or so of what i call "unusable" buds... basically stuff i wont put in a bag.. between the two plants... they were nice and long... most to big to fit in a mason jar without either cutting them down or bending them in the jar..

the thc was AMAZING.. they were drenched in trichs.. just super covered.. beautiful is the word..

the smoke was nice and thick... a nice chocolaty flavor...

the stone was couch lock style.. very very nice for pain...

when the buds dried they were super dense... like unsqueezable dense..

i mean like i said... it was, to me, what would be perfect for commercial grow... great smoke, smell, bag appeal, trich production, ect... DEFINITELY worth a try...

i got them through attitude... sagamartha M. tundra.. fem'd seeds (they have both if you want tho).. they also have a strain called blue thunder.. its a blueberry x tundra cross... its gotta be good... they only have mixed seeds of that strain.. otherwise i would have gotten it for this run...

2) giga bud - basically same as tundra.. very nice short grow.. wide fat bush.. super fat long buds.. rock hard when dried... taste was lemoney/citrusy/fruity instead of chocolaty.. the high was good too... i was energetically couch locked... and they finish fast.. i took mine to 9 weeks.. but the right ones can finish in 6 to 7... with some cloning and growing out im sure it could yield ridiculously and finish very very fast..

giga bud was through attitude also... g13 labs... they only have femd which is nice... another one i may go back to after i see what a few other strains have in store..

some real good advice. ive been doing a lot of reading of late, of the history , linage of stains. funny how they were mabe 4 strains starting in cali , flown to the dutch, as results of just some crossing of orginal mexican, colombian, and maybe a little of the hindu kush or thai. any now as growers we have to sort throw 400 strains. cracks me up. im no considering the mtf heavy as u suggested femd from sagmartha thru attitude. but i also heard great things about that improved nl #5. hard to choose, especially when attitude has shit so pretty like TGA subcooled. man its hard.

that is crazy.. 4 strains mixed with some bullshit and now we have 400+ strains.. but i mean, think about it. mix strain a and strain b and get strain c... assuming a and b arent crossed yet... there is an unlimited potential out there.... its just pushing the strains to preform better and better.. which is apparent they are doing that...

it is REALLY hard trying to pick out strains.. i want to grow them all.. try them all.. but know i never will.. some strains, even if i spent my entire life trying to get to to grow, will never make it to my veg room... its sad to think about.. but thats why i want to make the cup some year.. to experience as many strains from as many different growers/breeders as i can... before i pass out from being stoned!! but i heard they may cut the cup off to the rest of the world and only allow local people.. that would suck.. and i think would be bad business for them...

anyways..

thanks tho.. i try to describe the strains the best i can.. its somewhat hard to... i mean... it is but it isnt.. im not good at describing usually... i'd be terrible if i needed to do an artist redention thing if i witnessed a crime...

its about a 6 to 8 hour trip for me... from start to finish.. depending on how long i stay down there.. and if i stop for white castle (which i HAVE to) on the way back.. i hate it being so far away.. at least i live in a state lucky enough to have one tho..

Thought I would let you know, I placed an order with the tude on 11/13/09. I received my tracking # but when I put the number in it doesn't show any information. E mailed Rachel at Attitude, she said the UK post is on strike and it will take a bit longer.

seriously?? because i placed 2 orders (long story) on 11/16.. one was shipped out the 18th and is here in the states.. the other, due to them being out of a strain i wanted, was delayed a couple days but is out the door on its way over also...
i had to send a couple emails to them during it all, talked to rachel also, and she didnt say anything about it.. maybe its over?? let me know when you get yours and ill let you know when i get mine.. we'll compare and see whats up..

didnt really realize how spendy they are at the tude. i know wut i want basically the whole list. fuck if that was ever possible . but no, i think wut i want is that sagamartha tundra *reg* , then i think its from dna genetics , chocolope , and maybe 1 more not sure yet.

I talked to Rachel yesterday and she sent me the wrong tracking number. My order is in the states and on the way. I think the strike is a way of covering there ass. Beans should be here in a few days, maybe a bit longer due to the holiday. I ordered Reserva Privada Purple Wreck, Serious AK-47, Th Heavy Duty Fruity, TGA Querkle and Greenhouse Strawberry Haze. Plus the free ones they send. Should be an interesting grow

i know how you feel.. there are so many strains and so little time.. we need to just have a big RIU party this summer and have a bunch of us meet and bring our goods.. well.. i guess MG was talking about the 420 party if thats still on..

i think you made a good selection.. i went with chocolope myself.. plus pineapple express and LSD.. they were out of the twista 108 so im getting either applejack or kill-a-watt.. either way ill be happy...

they are super quick arent they.. fuckin love it.. had a package sent out on the 18th from them, which was last wednesday.. it got here yesterday.. the shirt they sent was pretty cool too...

thats good they have it taken care of and figured out.. im sure the strike thing is some sort of excuse if something gets backed up tho.. your right there... but im sure if lets say you order on monday, and they are getting seeds from a breeder that you ordered from and they are currently out of later in the week, they will try to ride it out until you get what you want.. it makes sense they need some sort of excuse for it if it takes longer.. they prolly run out of strains quicker than they can get them in... and so unless the original breeder stopped producing "x" seeds because it was a special batch or whatever, then the attitude doesnt mark "out of stock".. know what i mean??

strains you got are good... i considered heavily the purple wreck and querkle myself.. cant wait to see them grow!

so the trimming is done and over and everything is gone! so sad...

but

i will be starting a new grow soon.. waiting for the last of my seeds to come in and the new equipment i ordered and ill be set to go.. then i should be on a 60 day rotation from there out...

how are you lovelies coming along?

doing great. getting ready to start flowering 4 ladies. all the seeds i startred are doing great im geting the veg room ready as of 2day. i need to get another 1000wtt hps ballast b4 i start though. about a week and i should be able to make the switch. but all in all things arr going good so far. im cutting fire wood and selling itand still hunting. busy busy busy, and i just got done remodleing a friends bathroom. gutted out the whole fucking thing and moved every thing but the john..
