my humidity stays around 45% , I live in south texas near the gulf its humid as hell all the time are you having issues ,i would think 38% would be fine

no its cold in the area where they are so humidity isnt an issue, i was just wondering what the proper humidity should be thats all!! Thanks .....anyone else have any ideas or knowledge to put here for us noobs!! LOL

What range should I maintain for my growroom humidity and temperature?
A humidity and temperature gauge are essential in any growroom. Daytime conditions should be 70-80 degrees without co2, 80-90 degrees with co2 until the last two weeks when daytime temps should be kept between 70-80 and co2 can be reduced to adjust for the lower metabolism. Night temperatures should be kept above 60 degrees to prevent stress. It is preferrable during flowering to have a night temperature drop of 10-20 degrees to stimulate flowering hormones and reduce stem elongation.
I find that low humidity causes stress on plants. I recommend 50-60% humidity until the final 2 weeks of flowering. At this point, the humidity should be lowered as much as possible to encourage the plant to seal and protect itself with additional resin. (I am able to get the humidity to go as low as 31%) I have been able to frost things up considerably this way. The higher humidity levels prior to final ripening reduce salt levels within the plant tissue and encourage healthy, more lush growth.

i wanted to know whats the best humidifier or fogger that also emits fog or mist u can see to get for a space thats about 5.5x6.5x8.5 i also have an 8" exhaust fan and a 6 inch intake fan that was coverted to take 4 inch ducting and my hydrometer read lo which is less than 10% humidty i also dont have air cooled lights so hense the dry air
another question im drawing fresh air in from the window and it come in to the room at about 57 degrees ferinhight and my temp in the grow room reaches between 72 and 80 ferinhight is that good the temp of the air commin in if not how can i get it to go to about 60 or 62 degrees ferinhight

I know from my mushroom cultivating that digital hygrometers are oftentimes very inaccurate, especially when reading in the extremes. From 40 to 60 % RH they may be relatively accurate. Note, I am talking about your typical cheap Wally World digital hygrometer, but this is probably what you have. If you paid more than $50 for it then never mind. If you are really concerned with your RH buy an analog hygrometer that can be calibrated. I don't think you should be concerned, however, because low RH in flowering has shown to lead to more potent bud. Also, they will less prone to mold, bud rot, and they will dry significantly quicker after harvesting. Too dry is not good, of course, but in the 30s is fine if your plants aren't suffering from over transpired leaves (dry). I have grown many different strains and my grow room stays in the upper 30s to mid 40s, and I have never had a problem because of hunidity. Look for analog hygrometers at a cigar shop, they sell them for humidors. They are like $4 a piece so grab a couple, you may need another in the future. Calibrate by soaking a towel and wring the water out until damp. Wrap the hygrometer in the towel, wait one hour, and check the hygrometer. Adjust the calibrating dial on the back until it reads 99%RH.

whats a good humidifier to buy for a room 6x5x8 at least to push the humidity so it can reach about 50 to 60

as soon as i get more money i will there 30$ at home depot and they suck... might just get a cheap ass one and try i just turned the lights on for 10 minutes its all ready down to 30%
the perfect temp and humidity levels is 78 degrees at 70 % humidity. Throw a couple of wet sponges in your grow room, or a watering can full of water. I have a tray of pebbles that I pour water into and let it evaporate into my grow.Well the title says it all people!! Whats the best and cheapest way to rise humidity in my room?
