12 weeks flowering (hawaiian skunk)

The packaging says 11 weeks .. i m already on 12th and still it doesnt seem rdy at all.. thank god my next ladies will be trainwreck and church both 8 week flowering cause this one is rly a slow budding plant.. today i sunday, end of the 12th week entering 13th. and these arent weeks from 12/12 but from first fem sign.. anyways, i started flushing today.. trichs are 80% milky 5% clear 15% amber..

it's a 250 watt hps combined with 2 150watt metal halide spot lights which are behind the camera on this photo, both focused on my clone.. it's a part of an experiment i m doing at the moment..

hmm interesting light setup,seems to be doing pretty well

you can tell her sativa dominance is major,just look at those hazey buds,i bet thats gonna be a great smoke bro

anyone wanna comment on how longer should i wait? .. i m gonna harvest on a week, aka monday 30 november.. that ll be the 14th week of flowering.

i doubt that it would be ready on monday so i added some light nuts today to boost it a bit for 2 more weeks.. it doesnt stop growing.. it's insane.. so i m going to chop on 15th week of flowering.. anyone else flowered for so long?

maybe try putin your lights on a 11-13 cycle to help speed the last week or so up a little bit..... that might help

well i did this for the last 2 weeks 11-13 but nothing happened.. actually it seemed to slow things down a bit so i return to normal 12/12 yesterday, also turned uvb lamp off .. any ideas for the reason this is soooo slow?

Sativas take a long time to flower, a friend of mine had one go 16 weeks and the trichs still were only about 40/60 cloudy/clear. The only way youll know for sure is by the trichs, buy a $10 30x or higher microscope with a light at radio shack. Cut a small piece of sugar leaf off at the top of the plant and another one at the bottom, put it on a flat surface and look at both sides of it, right before my harvest i was checking every 3 days to see how they were maturing, i found way more trichs on the bottom side of the leaf than on the top. Theres no real way to tell if the plant is ripe except for with the microscope, all the pistils on my 2 OG kush plants were orange in the 4th week of flower, but the trichs werent rigth until the end of the ninth week.

Infamous i got a scope and i have seen like 10 amber trichs and loads of milky with a hint of clear.. i m running out of patience.. i wanna start my new grow but i cant!

Theyll be better off if you let them go longer, im in the same situation, im waitin on 2 plants to finish and i have 5 more clones in solo cups huddled under a 70 watt MH that are barely getting any light and im sure are stressed as fuck and might already be turnin hermie or waitin for me to flower them and hermie half way through and fuck up everything around em, but the two i got goin are purplewreck and its been 10 weeks since i switched to 12/12 this coming suday, so ive been takin care of these plants for almost 16 weeks, if its gonna take one more week for them to be right on im gonna do it i got too much invested in it. You dont need anyones permission to chop it down, but if you do the quality and yield are gonna be affected, if you grew this thing from seed that means you got like almost 20 weeks into it? gotta make an executive decision bro. Thats the main reason i dont grow sativas, they take too dam long, i can put an indica in and i know ill be pullin it in 10 weeks or less almost everytime time. Its on you bro, that ratio doesnt sound too bad though, but another week to 10 days would look alot better even if it was still early, The last weeks of growth are usually when they pack on most of their weight, on every plant ive had so far the buds almost doubled in size in the last weeks before they were ripe. Just because it says 8-9 weeks does not mean it is really done then.Does it have more indica or more sativa in it.

chop that sucker down, if its mostly cloudy. its wasting your time and your light. Get on with another grow. Im sure that smoke is gonna be dank.

i have like an identical plant...im at 12 weeks yesterday. im curious on ur location to dry and how exactly u will dry / cure......

im on my first grow and i want nice potent buds.

Infamous, it's growing from seed from August 10... Funny thing this plant is older than my ATM relationship.. i m going to harvest next monday since i got my trainwreck waiting..

Mindmelted it is supposed to be an indica - skunk#1 hybrid but doesnt seem so.. It looks more of a sativa hazy mix but whatever..

kronic if i waited for 4 months+ i could wait for a couple of weeks.. but from now on only 8 week indicas..

Blunted what do u mean how will i dry / cure??

like dont u have a process that u use personally for drying and curing ur buds??

Yes im gonna hang the dry for 7-10 days and the jar cure for another week.. then i m going to start smoking it and keep the rest in jars to continue curing until it's finished.. kinda simple. What did u mean by "i m curius on your location"?
