Im at day 45 of flower. On average how long does white widow take to flower? Im thinking at least another 2 weeks before they can be done. Am I close?
I've checked them with a 30X loupe. They look clear to me. Would it be a waste to sample one of the lower buds?Looks like it could be 2-3 weeks to me. You have to check the trichomes with a scope to be sure.
Wouldn't hurt, but won't be near what the cure will be...I've checked them with a 30X loupe. They look clear to me. Would it be a waste to sample one of the lower buds?
Waiting to sample is the hardest part. I may snip a nip over the weekend.Wouldn't hurt, but won't be near what the cure will be...
In which those weeks begin after the first sign of sex.WW is generally a 9 week strain when grown properly...
I wanted to ask some of the same questions you are asking. I got the seeds from either dutch-seeds or nirvana-shop. Some buds are super sugar coated and others aren't too coated. I was wondering if I was under feeding them their nutes or was it a question of light, the more sugar coated buds aren't at the top, I have fluoro tubes running around the sides of the box, and thats where they're more coated than at the tops. Being that this is my first grow ever, I may be over noticing things... Or maybe not.Not doubting you about your own grow, but are you sure that's White Widow? Where did you get your beans from? The reason I ask is because I have grown quite a few WW plants, and at 7 weeks, where yours is now, they are usually smothered with trichomes to the point where it looks like snow had fallen on them. Don't get me wrong, she looks great, just saying that all of the WW plants I grew were more "White". Is your humidity high? Should be 40% or lower now.
From the looks of it, I don't think you're doing anything wrong bro. She looks nice. Could just be genetics. White Widow has been messed with over the years so much that I don't know if you could even find a pure WW strain anymore if you tried. The LAST WW plant I grew, I put pics up of it. Someone asked me about it because it had more Sativa traits than Indica. He went on to say that "Greenhouse Seed Co" was the original breeder of WW and that was the only place to get pure seeds. Whether that's true or not is anyones guess. I did buy some WW beans from them, but haven't grown them yet. I also have a WW seed from G13 Labs that a friend gave me, so maybe I'll do a side by side grow and see if there is any difference. Anyway, you still have at least 2-3 weeks left because they do go to 9 weeks to finish up like was said by someone else. Keep the humidity as low as possible and the light as close as possible. Great job on your first grow. Best of luck the rest of the way!I wanted to ask some of the same questions you are asking. I got the seeds from either dutch-seeds or nirvana-shop. Thanks for the positivity. I'm really looking forward to tasting the fruits of my labor. From the looks of it, I don't think you're doing anything wrong bro. She looks nice. Could just be genetics.
