i have a question, while my lights are off i sometimes have to go into the room, there are no other lights that are shining into the room and outside of the room (hallway) is pretty dark, but not pitch black, a little light seeps through the bottom of the doors of the other room and lights up the grow room just slightly, i try to close the door ASAP and only use my cell phone for light and do not point it at the plants. Is this okay? or should i not go in there AT ALL? Also what kind of light can i use to go in there? I heard a green light? but what kind of green light?
Can i go into my grow room when the lights are off?

at "night" your babies should have uninterrupted darkness, especially during flowering. now with that said, yes you can use just a plain old green fluorescent light bulb so you are able to enter your grow room without interrupting your baby's sleep. that should allow you to do any work you may need to do, or to just go in and check there progress.

some like army flaslights have lil filters in the bottom of them.. you unscrew the cover and put the green filter over the lense.. i am not sure where you can find these at nowadays, i just remember my pa had one when i was a kid... i am sure if you google it you can find something.. gotta love google..
you have to think about plants as they exist in thier natural environment.. outdoors... a lot of nights the moon is bright and shining right down on mj plants that are outside... this moonlight doesn't negatively affect plants in the outdoors, so i would think that the lil bit of light getting thru under the door is cool, although you don't want to be doing this very often..

Get a cfl green light any green light will do the way you are going you will end up stressing the PLants get your butt in you dark room as fast as you can no light interruption or it will cause hermaphidites an no one wants hermaphidite plants. Have the cfl green light ready just by the entrance an get in qucik have a nice day.

i totally fucked myself by going into the room during the dark hours. i had a hermie that ruined 4 plants completely. and i aint in it for makin seeds either.
