Fox Farm Ocean Forest from seed or Start with Light Warrior or mix? Please help.

My babys were started in light warrior & are now on day 16 and looking WAY TOO SMALL ( i have another thread of them on day 12 i think). My question is for my next grow, im going to be using auto-flowers again (ak47xlowryder2 & regular lowryder #2), should I start in 1 size pot and leave it at that or should I start in a smaller than transplant to a larger one, or no since its autoflower. And my main question is from now on should I mix Fox Farm Ocean Forest & Light Warrior instead of JUST using light warrior because it seems these babys are so so so SO small for there age.Any help is GREATLY appreciated, as im very emotiaonlly attatched to my babys as you guys know

Any pics? Hard to diagnose without pics... FF Warrior is good for seedlings but by now you should switch to FF Ocean Forest mixed with 20% perlite, and transplant to at least 3 gallon pots.

You're using Auto-Flowering strains, which are suppose to be small.
My question was about the soil & potting, and trust me, look at these there is definantly something wrong for them to be this size on day 14. Look at these on day 14. afghan kush ryders.

but i REALLY need the info for the question i originally asked about the fox farm ocean forest & light warrior & potting, any help is ghreatly appreciated PLEASE. im so scared

One of my AK47 lowryders grew to the same size as the afghan kush ryders in like 6 days! HEres my journal

just use ff of from start to finish thats what i do. it is best to start seeds in the same medium your gonna grow in. you dont have to transplant just start rt in the pots your gonna use 2 gallon min.

i have never grown any autos personally, but from what i understand about them, they do stay relatively small during the whole grow, so maybe yours aren't that small.. maybe you should try and search for a grow journal on here that someone is doing on an auto, and one of your auto would be even nicer if you could find one..
i use fox farms ocean forest, and have no problems with it.. i usually cut it with about 25% or so perlite for better drainage and aeration.. be carefull with anykind of nutes during the first couple of weeks with seedlings, and especially if your using ocean forest.. i would say wait atleast about three or four weeks before adding anykind of nutes to it.. i am not sure about mixing the two together though.. i think if you use just one or the other you would be better off.. that way if you run into anykind of problems, you will have an easier time diagnosing them...

I know this thread is old but maybe it could still be useful.

I am using Light Warrior and Ocean Forest together. I mix about 50/50. I first used only O.F. but noticed that maybe the richness of the fert. was hurting my babies. Also the water would stay in the bottom of the pot longer than I woulda liked. I read on High Times grow section somewhere that they used the same mix. Anyways, I like this mix as well because I like using ferts; and like someone already mentioned, using only O.F. means you don't need additional fert. for atleast 3-4 weeks.

Also with the worry about the Autos being so small, it is apart of the genetics, or your seeds might have weaker genes. If you were using strictly Light Warrior, I think I would have been from the lack of ferts, thus starting a feeding regiment during the second week might be beneficial.

I'm new to growing so I might not know much but from what Ive researched, you should probably check your ph level of the soil and your plants might be under some stress since there babies and you switched soils. I'd say keep watering with no nutes and make sure they're getting plenty of light. That's just my 2 peso's.

don't transplant auto flowers ever it slows growth and can cause them to not grow much because their vegetative time is already so short, next time germinate the seed in the final size container of soil that you want it to be in you will see much better results, good luck with your grow!
