mexi-swagg sativa flowering question

i have four plants in the twelfth week of flowering, under mass about of CFLs, temps around 78-80. i have one thats super sweet, nice and you can see the trichomes with your eye, large and shinny, the two others i fucked up and let the lights burn the tops, so they slowed down, the other is a lot older than the rest, and she is not getting any trichomes, just a lot of hairs, lots of which have turned red/brown, but no trichomes, i see very very little shinnies but nothing like the others..

what is the normal flowering of a sativa plant, i figured it would be over about now...lol

thx

18 weeks shit, ill hang in there, just got back from Radio Hack bought 60x-100x, saw some, a very few amber ones, weeee... maybe in time for X-mas or New Year!!1 :joint:

thinking of going back and getting the 3 lens loupe, all together you get 25x. will be a wider view.

idc what anyone says...... no subtropical mexican sativa will take you 18 weeks to bloom. thats more typical of south east asian sativas. most mexicans are hybrid to some degree anyway. with the more northern varieties maturing faster. i recently harvested some mexi sativas outdoor that i started in middle may. they started buddin outside in early sept, and i let them bloom out for almost 75 days outside before i picked them due to the cold. they prolly only needed an extra week to be fully ripe. anyways you prolly just have weak genetics cuzz my mexi sativas had a good deal of trichons on them no were near the amount of top notch genetics though. you should be real close to h arvest man

i dunno.... I just know that there are pure sativas that can take that long:bigjoint::bigjoint:

yes there called tropical sativas..... they grow pencil thin leaves, grow tall has hell, start budding when they feel like it, and produce very very fluffy foxtailing buds.

If you see some amber trich's you're already at the point where you could harvest if you wanted too. If some are amber most should be cloudy.

I'd personally let her go another week or whatever it takes to get about half amber, but many people would harvest now it's all personal preference.

i've grown a couple out of shwag seed..... ended up culling them as there seemed to be no point to continue

i just dont care for sativas in general bro. i have been surprized plesently from growing sativas in general, but the lenght of time for them sucks. i will never waste electricty on them inside. im 100% indica man. sativas dont float my boat has they say. i build up a tolerence to them much to fast. and i dont care for the high. i like to get high forreal like to the point were i cant or dont wanna move. sativas just cant do that for me. and not just scwagg but sativas in general.

I have some week old schwag seedlings right now. 12-14 weeks for flowering, eh. How tall did yours get?

oddly enough the best one i have i only let grow for about 20 days, due to i had one that was getting too big for my cabinet, so i started flowering with one plant on 20 days, and two were only two weeks... the one that was at 20 days is about 14-18 inches long LST'ed, it just about quadrupled in size...
