Best quote:

“Here’s a guy without much experience, who campaigned against much of what we put in place ... and who now travels around the world apologizing,” Cheney said. “I think our adversaries — especially when that’s preceded by a deep bow ... — see that as a sign of weakness.”

Does anyone give a fuck what Cheney has to say about anything...

...that's what I thought.

See the 3 dots after bow?
You left out some words that give a different meaning to the sentence.

Typical twisting to make a point that isn,t there!!!!

Palin likes to quote too!!
In Chapter 3 of Going Rogue you will find this quote from (John Wooden).
Our land is everything to us... I will tell you one of the things we remember on our land. We remember our grandfathers paid for it--with their lives.
Actually it was John Wooden Legs who said,

Our land is everything to us. It is the only place in the world where Cheyennes talk the Cheyenne language to each other. It is the only place where Cheyennes remember the same things together. I will tell you one of the things we remember on our land. We remember our grandfathers paid for it--with their life. My people and the Sioux defeated General Custer at the Little Big Horn.

nope only teabaggers and foxsuckers....
meh ill listen to him. sometimes he may even make a bit of sense. Especially since he is out of office and feels he has to chime in on everything. He is damn near a pundit now. Any who i still find it comical that he slams obama just as i find it comical that meg ryan, pink and jada smith bashed palin. like they are qualified to talk about domestic or foreign affairs.

Fucking whackos, Cheney really?? He hid out his entire vice presidency... Doing god knows what behind closed doors. Everything proven that he did was against everything America stands for, morally and legally.

He denounced his own gay daughter in public. He did everything he could to line his friends/families pockets with money and his future with gold lining. This guy is easily one of the worst human beings to exist.

And you listen to anything he says? You dissapoint me.

Bowing (ojigi) is an important custom in Japan.
Bowing is a gesture of respect. Different bows are used for apologies and gratitude, to express different emotions, humility, sincerity, remorse, or deference, and in various traditional arts and religious ceremonies.
To preform the bow that would imply weakness you would kneel, bow forward with your forehead and hands touching the floor.
A TIP ON BOWING:
If you are new to Japan, you may find at first that you are not sure when to bow or how low or for how long. Most Japanese just appreciate that you make the effort and try but, if in doubt, bow lower and for slightly longer than the person you are meeting. You can’t go too far wrong with that! And when you start bowing on the phone, you’ll know you’ve got the hang of it.

i know if Obama goes to Israel, and refuses to wear one of the funny hats to go into a jewish holy place (Synenogue, or whatever), they (the right) would criticize him for not swallowing his christian pride and respecting other's culture............ but bow down as a sign of respect (NOT WEAKNESS) and BOOOM! international incident...

another non-issue being turned into an issue..... neeeeeext....

Yes, mission accomplished.
Today, there are eight year-old boys and girls in Iraq who have known nothing in their lifetimes but war and the occupation of their country by an American military invader. Eight years from now, there will be boys and girls all over the world who will have grown up with more intense poverty and with diminished sense of hope and opportunity as a direct result of the current recession.

Japanese custom? Did other leaders bow?
I'm suprised you didn't address the misqouted statement from you provided earlier that I pointed out.

Bowing (ojigi) is an important custom in Japan.
Are you really not aware of this???

Yes other leaders bowed!!! And some made out!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:
