Hey 5, how goes it? How long before you find out whether you got the job or not. Man in todays economy, I'd be pretty fooked without a way to supplement my income. Been self- employed for more years than I would care to think about.

They said there were 170 applications and there are 4 people reviewing each application and giving it a grade. Then they combine the 4 grades for an average. Then they will call the top scoring aplicants in for a board interview. Then the board will make the final decision on the person they want to offer the job to. They said they wanted to have it filled before the college broke off for winter break but i don't see that happening in 2 weeks.
I'm self employeed also and it's not that I don't make good money it's just that it's not steady. The job is M-F 7am-3:30 which leaves me enough time in the day to still do small jobs for extra income.

Good jobs like this one are far and few. I had applied to a major state college a few years back for the same type of job and there were over 60 people that applied. I was 8th on the list to hire but they were only taking one. The test was very hard and some of the people I had beat out had been doing this work all of their lives. I know my shit when it comes to doing commercial HVAC and have been doing construction type work since I could hold a hammer. Thanks for the good wishes.....
Your preaching to the quior on that one my friend. I hate it also. I lost my state job several years ago because I wasn't connected enough. The only reason I got the job was because I was a vetran. Politics suck hard.....

Three trays were harvested last night and 3 more took their place in the flower room. The DQ#5 tray was one of them. 3 of the plants (2 JC#1 and 1 SD) were almost worthless. I think the SD was stunted by the fact that it was taken from a plant already in flower and hadn't ever started to reveg. The 2 JC#1's pathetic performence are the reason it is no longer in my garden.
I put 2and a half trays of JC#2 and 2 JTR#1 to fill out the last tray were put into soil last night. I really thought I would wake up to some dead plants due to the fact that their roots were soooo tangled that alot of them got torn from the plants. I gave them some plant stress tabs disolved in water and so far they are not even wilting.
Today I took a tray of GF#1 and Vortex#5 and a half and half tray of Vortex#6 and GF#1 and put them in soil. I want to let these veg out for a week and then I will top them. I think I'm losing yeild by not filling out the spaces to their capacity. so far I've been growing one main cola and I think it's hurting my yeild. I gave these some stress tabs in water also even though they weren't as tangled and the plants came apart without any problems.....

I'm not sure but I will take a better pic tonight and show you the dif. It will take about 3-4 days before I can give you a wieght total. The 3 shit plants probably won't wiegh an 8th I'm sure.....

I just did a feeding and was checking the tric's on the JTR, it is almost ready! Good and bad because it is in a tray with another plant that is going to be another 2 or more weeks. I guess I will not be able to put this strain in with any of my others because it finishes so much faster I will be wasting space. I am amazed at it's results. I topped all of the JC#2 clones I just put in soil. I will veg them at least 3 weeks to get some good growth on them before flowering. All the hairs on my arm are sticky and reek of resin from brushing aginst the plants while I was reaching to the back to feed. God I can't wait to smoke again.

It seemed to take forever to get roots and it never seemed to show growth in veg but I wanted to put a SD in with the other SD and it was th only one that looked ready at the time. Lesson learned.lol...
To all that don't, yes it is for me. I have to much to lose by getting caught selling and for that matter buying so I grow my own and I don't have to worry about buying and only have to carry very small amounts with me to medicate with throught the day. I am stock piling because I don't want to have these plants around when my kids are old enough to find them. I have a deep freeze and one of those vacuum baggers to keep it fresh. I do share freely with my friends and family but never sell. I tell them it's gifted to me by a friend so I don't feel right about selling it and they think I only have small amounts at any given time. I also have some of my old grow around so sometimes I break that out to change it up so they don't think I only get great weed and hang at my huse all the time lol.... The only one who knows the truth is my bro in law who helps me out when I go out of town and he likes his payments for helping out so he isn't telling anyone or he will risk loosing his connection to good weed.

I don't know what's going on with the layout. I was using blazn07 layout and now I can't even get that option anymore. The forums aren't updating either. Anyone else having this problem? I sent a PM to rui but no response yet. I will wait a day or two I guess and try again.....

It was clone day at 5's house today. I took about 30 clones from the JTR, JC#2, DQ#5 and Vortex#5. I really need more room lol. I have another batch that will be ready for soil in about a week or so and have no room again.....

I have had 3 plants that I put in soil die already from the shock and the root tangle problem. The thing is that i don't hav a big enough cloner to have each clone in it's own cup and i put them 4-5 in a cup sometimes. It is usually not a problem until I run out of room and have them sitting 3-4 weeks longer than anticipated and the roots get entangled. I'm thinking that if I start using small cups to put them in once they get ready for soil I will eliminate this problem. I really need a bigger flower room I think. And I need to figure out which of these mothers I want to get rid of. I am pushing the envelope on the amount of room I have. I'm weighing in on letting my Ch#1 pheno go because of the #2 being a bigger producer and almost the same potency. I also know I'm going to get rid of the sd mother but can't stop cloning it because i like the smoke for the evening and it produces heavy thick buds that smell like fule. The JTR#1 will be coming out within the next week or so and i have not been able to try the DQ#5 and haven't dried it enough to let anyone else try it yet either. I hope it's as good as it looks. DQ#6 will be ready in a few weeks as well maybe before christmas.....
