Alright well it is a guerrilla grow and if I don't use ferts my plants wont look as healthy or yield as much right?
Im not sure I would need to pump the water to the reservoir but I figured it would be easier to pump to res. then hide hose and pump, from there I could mix ferts and test ph and all that good stuff. Then set a water timer that will feed/water while i am gone over 2-4 week period or so.
I plan on having a few hundred plants so could you tell me how many 55 gallon reservoirs i would need?
The only thing about the plastic is it would only water the plants when it rained which could be weeks. So with the stagnating thing, Having 55 gallon drums and the water with fertilizer at the top being used last which could be weeks from leaving the barrel wouldn't it be stagnating?
what is crystal rain?
thanks for the advice and once I start it this coming season I hope your watching cause it'll be a show.
The volume guerrilla growers I know plant in stands of ten plants, all widely separated, in really rough country and work in teams of two for every 50 plants. Lots of rough living and camping out from the time flowering begins.
Everything including water has to be hauled in as LE air patrols aren't stupid and specifically track areas with water access.
That said, unless everything is buried you're asking to be busted or ripped with 55gal barrels and irrigation lines in plain sight.
As to water requirements, that'll depend on your soil composition. My indicas in 3'x3'x3' holes with excellent drainage soil each require two gallons every day in 100° summer heat (end July all of August) after veg is finishing and flowering starts. I use organic decomposed cow manure in my soil mixture and the only nutes I use are a couple of applications of diluted fish emulsion during veg and molasses during flowering.
Good luck with your grow. You'll need more help than you can possibly imagine to harvest, dry, trim, weigh and package the yield from a couple of hundred mature plants.
