Ok guys i dont know a huge amount about growing but I do know some things.
-I would like to say this is the easy guide to growing
First. Get your seed, and germinate it. Light colored seed that break under a little pressure are BAD seeds so dont use them. Apply a little pressure with your finger to some of your seeds to test them.
GERMINATION
Germination is not a completely necissary step. But it helps. To germinate a seed you wet a paper towel (not a tissue) put your seeds in it and wrap that paper towel in another paper towel. Dont over watter the towel because you can drown the seeds. Anyways, put the paper towel on a plate or saucer or something and put in a dark area with no moving air. After a day or 2 you should have some little roots now you need to pot the seeds. If you are on a buget then use one of those little Dixie cups with some holes poked in the bottom. Plant about 1/2 inch to inch deep roughly. Water soil. Wait
WHAT TO GROW IN
Dont think soiless is best, its not soil works FINE especialy if your new to growing. Rule one, dont I repeat dont use mirical grow, the ph is too high and they have horribe nutrients. They also have bug problems too. Mirical grow is for old ladies, no offense.
there are alot of brands but find a good soil mix, some perlite without any nutrients (optional) is good when mixed with the soil.
LIGHTING YOUR SPROUT
Lighting, if grown inside , is terribly important. DO NOT use regular incodecents house bulbs. If you learn nothing from this learn that.
If your on a buget use florecents cool white to veg warm to flower, vegitative stage requires 6500-5000K which is showon the box the bulbs come in flowering requires 2700-3000k. You need 3000 lumens per square foot. So look at the lumens output on the box and see how many lights you need. Use only long floro bulbs and compact florecents ( the squigaly bulbs).
But ifyou are not on a buget then use HPS bulbs to flower and MH to veg.
Get an electic timer that you can plug your lights into and set it to 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark for veg.
for flowering switch to 12 hours of light and 12 of dark.
FLOWERING
After the plants reach a good height (depends on strain) start to flower. Swich to 12/12.
NUTRIENTS
Use good brands of organic nutrients, do some research, I know its kind of painfull but research what kind if nuts you wantto use. Organic nutrients are best for new growers they are far more forgiving.
Remember dont panic and DONT RUSH. Plan it out, research, buy some books on youur prefered grow method.

The 3 mail nutrients are nitrogen potassium and phosphorus. For vegyou want more nitrogen and for flowering you want to cut out nitrogen and put in more of the other nutrients. Generaly. Most nutrient brands have a veg and flower formula so you dont have to stress bout mixing nutrients.
