i just noticed some ( not a lot ) roots sticking out of my soil (i added more soil) but i don't know how long they've been out

i also want to know is moss bad for it cause my soil (before adding more was just starting to get a little moss is that bad? or does it add nutritions?

was this a trans plant? If they look ok after adding soil they should be ok, you
just gotta water a lil more often since the roots are so shalow.. When the soil
is dry on top your roots will be dry too. now your starting to get a little moss?
sure its not alge or mold? cause if your getting any one of those you might be watering too much. (don't mean to confuse you) can you take some pics?

i'm sure it's moss i've seen the beginning or moss and mold and it's moss and also it was a transplant from a while ago and i've looked under the plant and didn't see any roots then it's been
and i can't take pix of the moss any more since i added the soil already

and would the roots being out cause "o-zone damage" or something? cause my leaves are turning sorta purple (on the yellow leaves and some on the green leaves or is the purple from something else (it's not the strain, it's headband)

are the roots showing at the top if so u need to transplant they do that when their is no room to growbeneth so they start to come out and if its coming out the bottom still need to transplant, and the moss is probably just some that got into the soil before u bought or it was ouside or u brought it in the grow room

yea being root bound can happen if the plant is slightly off center when transplanted/ pot too small..
I'don't know if the moss contains any harmful stuff but I would
doubt it. Moss only grows in really wet condtions so I'm pretty sure
that means too much water rentention in the pot. I would just to the finger test for watering.
put your finger past the soil you added to the roots & if it's dry water. if not don't

i thought roots grow above the soil when its to compact at the bottom or something like that. if it was from them not having room how would people have all these party cup grows without roots pouring out everywhere

The party cup grows are a bit dif conditons I think. there started from seed in them

I think you can go rootbound after a transplant if the pot is too small for
the growth or like u said if the soil is compacted
(which is prob true cause he said he's got moss poor drainage)
it can also happen if you transplant off center/ sideways.

either way you add dirt & water/feed a lil more often
Also saw the journal nice bagseed

Peel the moss off and gently place it elsewhere. It has its place but not in ur weed container. It will seal the top of ur soil and u don't want that.
