Mother plant chopped in half...

Actually, a bit more than half of it was hacked off by mistake.

She had 14 nodes and 8 of them are now gone. Just a stub of her former self.

Will she survive? Will she bush out? She is the only one I have of her kind. Hopefully I can save her somehow. Will she die or is there some hope?

No reason why she won't survive.
OK.. Thanks. Will she bush out or grow in some weird way? This is my 1st grow... I don't know what to expect.

Also, I was going to throw this one (pic below) in for flowering after taking clones from her, but I got about 2/3rd's of the way done lollipopin her and changed my mind. What will come of these stubs? Will new growth take their place or is that entire section of the plant now useless?

thank you!

you havnt you cut the main stem have you? if thats the case it should be fine. Cutting the main stem leaves a gaping hole in the trunk causing all sorts of problems.

are you using HPS/MH or cfl's? If your using HPS or MH your gona have trouble getting the top and bottom of the plant in the lights sweet spot now, not too much of an issue if your taking clones or using cfl's.

Yes.. Unfortunately the main stem. I basically snapped it in half and there were only "threads" holding it, so I just cut it all the way off. I think it was beyond repair. But from what you are suggesting, I will now have all sorts of problems (such as?), so that slip up might have just cost me the whole plant.

Using T5's for the mothers. HPS out in the flowering room. Not sure I am following your logic on this one though. The top of the plant is GONE. Nothing left but the bottom part of it. lol

thx

My friend had a plant one time that fell over and where the stem had broke, a baseball size ball of resin formed and sealed the plant. the plany survived and the ball was the stonnyest shit ive even smoked... ( i forgot to say that my friend also supported the broken part with strings so it was growing kinda sideways)

ive read stories of infection and drying plants from open trunks, i have no experiance of it at all but i'd get that hole in the stalk tended to, might be worth tying some string tight around the opening to close it up. might encorage it to heal.

EDIT: Your plants look in good condition from the pics so i dont think this is the end for them.

Good luck mate.

nature has ways of healing itself, if the conditions are good it will heal, if you have bad conditions you will have issues. try to provide the best environment for the plant and it will do the rest. i wouldnt worry about cutting the main stem, i do it all the time.

its all about the environment you keep.
i was just going to recomend the string to tie it shut if needed but stoner beat me to it.
i wonder if trunk seal/branch seal you can get at the nursery would work for this? hmm.

Yeah? A string? So sew it up like you would sew up a wound with stitches? thx
or like twist ties around the top of a garbage bag.......so you end up with a "sphinkter" lmao.... oh that just left me with a bad image in my head.
