I played basketball my whole life. I got tons of black friends (yes folks black people play basketball). They definately face more racism than me. But they too agree that they have very little love for the white man in general.
I'm not gonna go as far to say I see a lot of racism against whites. But down here in San Diego...there are some communities that give no love to the gringo. If you don't "speaka spanish" you should just move on. You won't get anywhere in some places business wise if you are not mexican.

This is RIU...not everyone around here is that smart.
Has anyone not seen the way some of the lack of grammar and puncuation??? I'm not perfect but at least I'm reasonable. Some of the kids are terrible. Run on sentances and text style typing. I sound old and I'm in my early 30's.

This is nothing new. Back in the late 60s and early 70s, I had to do the hiring for the company I was working for. I can't tell you how many job applications I looked at that were incomplete, illegible and just a mess.

a few years ago i called a number out of the paper about a welding job. when i called he asked me a handful of questions. one was "i hear noise in the background, are you doing dishes?" then he also asked me a few simple math questions, "what is 3/8ths + 3/8ths?, what is half of 3/4's?" i answered them right. he told me i start at 7am.This is nothing new. I don't know why there is any surprise about this. The Nobel people have been bending over backwards for years trying to make statements that are hard left and designed to comment on and impact US politics. Look at the recent winners. When you get to that point in having a biased agenda, why constrain yourself just because this year's most attractive choice hasn't done anything?
When people like Kofi Annon (architect of the oil for food scandal), Al Gore (architect of climate change hoax) and Jimmy Carter (architect of free houses for poor people) win, why not Obama?

I love questions with the answers in them. "you take 3/8 and times it by two to get 3/4, then divide by two" What is the answer? Ask that to a few Spicoli's out there and you'll be shocked at the answer.
California's Real Estate Salespersons examine is super easy. I know supposedly smart people that failed 4x. And they are college grads. The Brokers exam I would definately call college level. Even there though some of the questions are basic stuff from 5th grade.
"What are not non property characteristics?" double negative...the question is actually"what are property characteristics." It's right in front of your face and we still miss it sometimes.
I struggle with finding the Peanut Butter when that jar in front of me clearly says Jif. Makes my wife nuts. Probably one of the reasons we are not doing so hot.

I think the Nobel Peace prize committee knew Obama was being groomed to continue the war well before the 'election.' He talked about it in his campaign and they were trying to send a message that it doesn't have to be this way. That's really why he ducked out of the customary meetings with the Norwegian King, he didn't want to face the music. Now, War is Peace.
