Odorsok Carbon Filter

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has used these and how effective are they compared to a standard carbon filter? They are much cheaper and work in 99% humidity. They dont last quite as long though. But do they remove the odor?

I'm trying to cover up the odor on my exhaust, which is a 6inch 400cfm inline venting straight outside. I have 6-10 plants flowering most of the time.

Also I should be blowing air through it correct? Not pulling?

Thx for the post but I'm sure you can get busted using any filter if used in high humidity or if used past the expiry date of the carbon.

Does anyone have personal experience with odorsok filters?

Yes I agree,
Now with that said, I use one but it supplements my carbon filter.
I've had good results, but as I said I use both.
I like the idea that supposedly u cn just throw in dryer and recharge it, (not done this yet so still up for debut)

Thanks for the reply. It's really hard to decide between DIY, odorsok and going all out with a can filter.

Luckily in 1 week I'm chopping my current flowering plants, and my veging ones are still seedlings so I'll have some time to save up and decide which option once they start stinking. Im leaning towards just spending the cash on a can filter. Ive gone with cheaper options before and regretted it. Then again ive heard alot of good things about these odorsok filters. heheh.

Yea, people tend to get wat they pay for.
If ur tryin to stay under the radar, then DO NOT skimp on ur carbon scrubber,
I to used a diy, and was less than pleased although I am sure it did better than nothing at all, the whole place still stank!
In my opinion towards carbon scrubbers (I am sure others will disagree) is the biger the better. Now that goes hand in hand with ur fan cfm as well
