Hey guys look i have a plant in 12/12 for like almost 7 weeks and in about 3 more weeks she isgoing to be done,,,,,,

my question here is,, what would happen if this last 3 weeks i change the cycle to 18/6 instead of 12/12......better yield?? or it will affect my plant and its better to stick 12/12 till the end??

ok, ty man but i would like to know the reason .. or why is it bad ? to go 18/6 again for the last weeks? no offense or anything i just really want to know ty stumps

Man the reason you dont wanna do that... is that your plant will simply just return to its veggetative state... Its gonna start growing new shoots, everywhere you have a bud, the branch inside that bud will grow and youll end up with a huge branch for a little bud..also that if you switch the lamp to 18... within 3-4 days the plant will not continue to produce thc, it will focus its energy to preparing to grow new shoots.... so its a big NO NO ..
I was doing changing my light bulbs, and by accident plugged the timer for my veg box, to my flower box... and vice versa... Luckily i noticed a week later... when i had a power shortage i checked my timers and realized i had swapped them....

The flowering plants were already in week 7... their last week of flowering, When i was already half way through flushing... and this happened
let me tell you my friend.. the plants were not half as nice as they coulld have been if i hadnt messed up the timers.....!!!

Because if you switch back to 18/6 the plant will think it is early in the growing season and revert back to vegetative growth and you wont have any bud to harvest. When you flower a plant stay with 12/12.

now that is a plausible scenario... even less light hours!!! some dutch guys do it..I personally dont.. I like to give my plants 24 hours of darkness before harvest.. but i dont reduce light hours.. Some say it works...... it wont hurt the plant that is for sure...

This will increase resin production but will decrease yield. The plant will have less light and thusly less overall energy to use for bud development. To compensate for this the plant will produce more sticky resin to catch as much pollen as possible to produce seed and reproduce.
