this is debatable...
strain and veg time are crucial info??
3 to 4, 3 foot trees would be good, you would possibly need some lighting at mid level for the lower buds

IMO, the problem with huge cfls is you can't position them well which is critical for cfls. If you look at the growers who get 4 oz + per plant with cfls, they are using many in the 23w to 42w size.

that is very correct but i have found that mounting the small cfl's above is more difficult then using a big cfl above.
what has worked well for me is one of these beast above the plants and smaller ones around the plants. i did try and keep both 250watters but the heat went sky high with only the 1 intake and 1 exhaust
and from using one of these above it saves alot of wires and you get alot of lumens, the people i bought mine from said they kick out 19500 lumens
i know it would help if i had a proper reflector which i will do soon ( after the xmas rush ) the top is covered in mylar to help out
TAM!! great fucking setup!!! how many watts total are you working with and for how many plants??? are all your bulbs mogul base... i found a link to a site on here with 40-60 watt bulbs triple tube bulbs..wondering if they may be easier to use than the spiral cfls.... Illegal Smile.. i didn't know that it was possible to get 4 oz. out of a cfl grown plant..
i used to grow 3 0r 4 decent plants with 2 x 200 watt, never going to bgrow loads under them but you will get great bud, try 1 vertical to fatten cola, check my albums to see what you can do mate
