Sun Spinner with Sunpulse Bulbs. Yields?!?!

Anyone have any experience using the sun spinner with sun pulse bulbs? If you have your yield (g/watt) i'd really appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

not a fan of spinners.. but that's just me.. To me.. it's just light stretched out.. It's not more light. It's not a photon multiplier.. For the money you're better off getting another light then the spinner. I Don't have 'proof' and I've never run a spinner I just know they are not that popular anymore cause more light is better.

Spinners are by and large the largest growing tool in the growing community. Stop spewing misinformation and opinions as fact.

Oh and by and large spinners do act as a photon "multiplier" by allowing much less photon "waste".

@op: Why bother putting together such a costly system to use old technology? Get a CMH bulb and never look back.

I love light movers. There is simply no other way to cover as much area with limited power consumption. Sure, maybe two or three times as many lights would be better, but I think running over 60KWH per day is going to draw attention.

But, the thing I like most is that the light hits the plants at an infinite number of angles. If lights are fixed, foliage will grow to block light needed by other foliage. This doesn't happen when the angle constantly changes. However, I doubt I would buy that one. It seems to expensive and integrated stuff is always a drawback. If you have a square room, look at the Sun Circle.

I agree that for some situations or areas and current limits it might make sence but to say that it's the "most popular" like the guy above is not true. I can't even remember the last time I've seen one going let alone a spinner. I mean, I know of the life light guys but that's a different kind of thing.

I can't speak for all areas but.. I know several guys that run 15+ lamps each in several locations. Just pay your bills and don't grey out the block. For all they know you have a fleet of electric cars.. But, that's in my area..

"Spinners are by and large the largest growing tool in the growing community." No they aren't... why would you say that? So it's bigger then digital ballast? Bigger then ushio bulbs? Bigger then "Ocho" Hoods? Right.. I bet you work for Gualala or however you spell it.

If you're going to do it just get the sun twist.. it's cheaper..

The other negative is that you can't air cool the hoods.

Fastest growing does not, and has never, meant most popular or largest. Fastest growing means, now get this, fastest growing!

You're an odd fella huh?

You didn't say fastest growing.. you said largest. Never the less it's by far not the fastest growing tool.. now or ever. "Stop spewing misinformation and opinions as fact." lol

Long story short. Waste of fuckinh money. Just buy more wattage with the
money you will save. As someone above posted, look into CMH systems

Legallyflying, short of the long I picked up a couple of the starmixer set ups. In theory they sound badass, now I'm feeling kinda dumbas as I havent found one person who has a awesome grow with them yet. But I'm gonna give them a run, I'll post back when I'm up and running or down and out

Well. It's not the end of the world or anything. If you can keep the plants healthy they should do really well under the spinner
