Hey everyone,
I started my LSD asnd Red Dragon from Barneys Farm grow finally...

My question is im running two 400 watt lights a MH and HPS in a cooltube.

How far should i keep the MH wich is the only light im using right now from my sprouts?

They seemed to be strteaching a little so i lowered it and fired on the cooltube.
 
That's the trickiest light-height to set because you don't want to singe the tender seedlings but at the same time you don't want to be too far away cause they'll stretch alot too... as you mentioned, the cooltube will help alot I think - you should be able to get within a few feet with that - just check how hot it is above your babies and you'll be fine. I usually take the good with the bad and try not to risk getting them too hot at that stage...if they stretch a bit then I just bury them deeper in the next transpant which isn't long after.

By the way, I just started a Red Dragon grow too! I have 3x Red Dragon, 1x Mr.Nice - Dreamtime and 1x bagseed. Are you keeping a journal for your grow? If so, do you have a link? =)

I keep my 400w MH around 16 inches away in a cool-tube. Once a couple weeks old, I drop it down to 12 inches or so.
 
Thanks guys yea im running her about 40 cm away from the tops.

Yea im setting up one this weekend just have to get the camera from my friend. Ill post one soon ill check yours out. Heard the Red Dragon is a slow grower but def worth the wait.

Right now i have 5 RD, 5 LSD, 1 Lemon Skunk, 1 La Conf., And a Kushberry.:peace:
