The truth be spoken. Since everyone is so different, and therefore reacts differently to everything, I don't think there is a uniformed answer for this.i'm currently doing well with my moderate anxiety with an indica, my 1st indica so not sure how others will work out
but from years ago, and many bag weed sativa's, i found sativa's can do just about anything
from REALLY upping anxiety to taking it away in a very good way
but the bad sativa's(anxiety wise), when they're bad they can be very BAD
There are so many variables, including the actual strain itself-whether its indica, sativa, or a combo. It also depends on the time you harvest.
Experimentation is key IMO. If you find something you like, clone the fuck out of it, and you're gold!
