well im in my 7th week of flowering and ive been looking at my tri's through my magnifier and they are still clear to milky and the hairs are probably 25% reddish brown. ive been reading that most of the trichomes are supposed to be an amber color. is that true? and the hairs should be about 50% red. is that true? i am growing aurora indica and its flowering time should be from 9-11 weeks, so are the trichomes all of a sudden gonna start changing to amber or what? i guess i just feel like they should be done by now! by the way this is my first grow so im just looking for a little advice so i dont chop too early! thx

You can harvest now, and some even prefer to. Clear to milky trichs when cured will give you the enlightening head high, where as the longer you leave it and the more amber they get, the more the stone will become more like couch lock, some concider this to be more intence. Best of both worlds, 50% milky to 50% amber.

Since the breeders reccomends 9-11 weeks i would at least go the full 9 weeks, but just keep a watchful eye on those trichs as you have been. They could really swell up in two weeks time.

I think he meant by just give them water is that you may want to consider starting your flush,Its up to you.

Looking good by the way.
