Just a thought...

I think parties ruin voting...most of the time people arent voting for the person running for candidacy, they are just voting for their party.
I agree, but people are stuck in this way of thinking where all Republicans are bad or all Democrats are good, when in reality that is not the case. I'll admit I don't like most Republicans but I wouldn't go as far as saying that I hate all Republicans or I only vote Democrat at the polls because that is just untrue and ignorant.

The problem is most people are so narrow minded or uninformed that no matter what the actual candidate claims (if they even bother to check it out) alot of people will still vote for him just because hes a member of "mom and dads" party. I think people need to realize how much they can effect things by throwing in their uninformed votes.

The political efficacy in this country is horrible and actually made me consider something in politics as a career. Nobody feels they have a say in what happens, and that is exactly what the big boys in Washington want. The more people neglect the polls, and feel that they can't make a difference, the worse this country is going to get.

Voting doesn't make a damn difference. They are gonna put whoever in the hell they want to in there. I voted for Al Gore in the 2000 election and guess where my vote went...straight to George W. fucking Bush. I have completely lost faith in our government AND the voting system. ALL politicians are fucking liars and will do and say whatever it takes to get in office, but when they get there...what do they do...the exact fucking opposite:cuss:
