to know the true history of American is to understand it's all wrong.

this country was built on the backbones of the lessor by rules set from the elitists. it's actually kinda sad.

I see a ton of comments all over the place about barrack obama, new world order, industrial milatary and the illuminati, blah blah blah.

But these guys have been in control for a long time, sure it makes you a slave and have to give 3 months of a year in wages in taxes, but what would the world really be like, if these high end bankers actually withdrew all their money and their loans and everything. Everyone would have to give up their beloved ps3's and plasma tv's and blah di blah di blah and life would be 3rd world, people would be begging for food, there would be looting and chaos and anarchy would break out.

I accept the truths of it all, but its kind of like a blue pill red pill situation, was life in "the matrix" better than reality.

Yeah, brilliant guy. I read the book ten years ago and really liked it. I'll have to watch this...

I watched the whole thing. Funny that people can see what our country has done to others in the past yet refuse to see what has been happening for the last 50 years. Some will call themselves patriots and will defend the governments action no matter what the cause, others will cower from its power and will dare not speak in condemnation of it.

This Zinn quote speaks for itself:

“Objectivity is impossible,” Zinn once remarked, “and it is also undesirable. That is, if it were possible it would be undesirable, because if you have any kind of a social aim, if you think history should serve society in some way; should serve the progress of the human race; should serve justice in some way, then it requires that you make your selection on the basis of what you think will advance causes of humanity.”

Subjective history is simply a flight of fancy.
