4/5 weeks into flower n nothing to show!

Hi i have 2 afgan kush X skunk plants growing under 200w cfc for each plant its a closet grow.

I put them into flower around the 14th of november n all i have to show is a few white hairs.... had em on 12/12 but i lowered it to 11/13.
its nite time for them so ill post some pics when the lights come on

Any idea why they are taking so long to flower??? any help would be great thanks

Could be allot of things. Show some pics. Are the temps cold in res or room? Any flowering nutes being used? PM reading? Do the leafs look like eagle claws? I have a plant that did that about a month ago and hasn't grown much after that. Well good luck man.

make sure theirs no light leaks make sure timmer is set properly dnt feed nitrogen make sure temps are ok cool temps stop growth

Yeah,
Light leaks will do that shit too.

check your whole plant and make sure it didn't herm on you because that will cause it to stop flowering had it happen to me i just dont think its light leak, but pics will be better to help. please check for the sacks

what is the square footage of the area? You need 5k lumens minimum to flower. I have no idea how many lumens your cfl's are.

He didn't say that man. I had a plant herm from stress, and it also stopped flowering. I understood what he was saying. I doubt that's it, but without pictures or my hands on the plant and area it's hard to tell.

ive had a houndred at least that hermed on me over the years ,that does not stop flowering in fact its still flowering just with man parts. a male flower is still a flower and a plant that herms will still continue to flower if it was stressed that could stop flowering but it didn't stop flowering because it was a herm....


all i would ask is that the op check to see if the light is actually off for 12 hr a day, many ppl have neglected to push the little switch over so the timmer works properly, next i would be sure that when it is dark it is completely dark block any light leaking in, next make sure temps are above 70 lower than that growth will slow, after that is all checked out and your sure you have no light leaking in and the timmer is cycleing properly and your temps are good you should have flowering if not your strains genetics are crap or your light is too dim to make big buds, it will still flower but buds will be small and airy wich may make you think its not flowering when it really is there just isn't enuff light to make the big buds you are waiting for but it will continue to flower and finish its life

ill post a few 2mro iv just gotton so lazy lol i think it was the cold + it was getting light contamination when it was in its night cycle but its blocked now!

I almost passed out from lack of oxygen reading that sentence. Joking with ya. I think you said it all right there though. A few months back I posted the same problem and someone told me to unplug the lights for 24-36 hours and leave them in complete darkness. Reset the timer and make sure no light leaks and all is working properly including fresh air and things will work fine. They went back to the vegetative state somehow. After leaving the light off for 24 hours I plugged the timer back in and noticed one of the tabs was pushed in at 2AM and back on at 2.30AM, though it was suppose to be from 9AM til 9PM. Somehow it was pushed in mistakenly. Within a week they took off. I would suggest what was said to me about leaving them in the dark for 24-36 hours and then try it again on 12/12. More light wouldn't hurt either.

the claw a newb trying to grow causes it....joking....could be anything from high temps t too much nitrogen flush and start back in at half strength nutes keep temps within range and let the soil dry. chk humidity if problem continues, and do nothing.... just keep it healthy it isn't gonna hurt nothin just flush and go light on the feedin... less is more

I'm guessing not enough lights (specifically lumens) to trigger true flowering. and 11/13 won't help. go back to 12/12 and try to get more lighting in there. preferably HID light, like a HPS light. 5 bucks says that'd fix the problem.

My understanding Tussel of the effects of too much heat on a plant is that the leaves curl upwards, not down. High nitrogen may be the answer though. You know more than I do I'm sure. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I've read on high heat though I've never had it happen to my plants personally.
