Hello, new grower in the southeast region in the US currently building a grow box and can't wait to get started for 2010. It's gonna be an exciting year. Looking forward to making many new e-friends here as you all seem so friendly and willing to help out new growers. Thanks in advance for the help and apologies in advance for any stupid questions i may have in the future lol... happy growing everyone

hey thanks spliff,
i'm thinking of blue mystic fem seeds from attitude... i've read that it can be an easy grow... i will be using a 400 watt ballast that converts both MH and HPS... i have both bulbs...

if i'm successful with that, i'm gonna try a sativa strain next...

i have also read that blue mystic doesn't smell really loud cause discretion is an issue since i will be renting a duplex and haven't learned the ropes yet.

theres some nice autoflowering plants as well man if your looking for a easy first grow have a look ...+ ive heard blue mystic is supposed to be nice smoke.
and do a search on this forum for diy carbonj filter that will solve the smell problem.

what you mean by renting a duplex like renting out a place just for the grow or for you and the grow....peace

i'm renting a duplex to live and i will be using an extra bedroom to grow in a discreet grow box my dad is helping me build... i'm growing for strictly recreational purposes not for sale... just tired of the searching and buying bullsh!t weed off the street for high prices... going thru middlemen, etc... figured this would be an exciting and rewarding new hobby

thanks for the tip about autoflowering... i will definitely look into that...

i've searched the carbon filter on this site and found ALOT of useful information... which is one of the reasons why i signed up...
