yeah.. another great talent ruined by hard drugs.. such a shame the toll that they take on musicians and artists alike..
i love the kids slam dancing to soup.. its like come on.. its blind melon, not slayer.. smoke a phatty and chill for a minute and listen to the music..

Many a muscician should have died after their first few albums.
Instead of sticking around too long and making crap music.

Blind Melon. Nowhere near the top of my list, but a decent band nonetheless.

Oh I know. It is the song that made them famous. But among 'Melonheads' it is lower on the list. Melon is one of those bands that has a cult following of die hard fans.

If you've never listened to anything thing else by them, I would only kindly suggest that you broaden your melon horizons. Especially if you like early to mid nineties rock. I think they are one of the best bands of that era, easily ranking up there with AIC, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam but with more of a Southern psychedelic influence.:peace:
