Should i clip the top bud??

My first grow and i've over grown one of my plants.... I have a 2x4x5 tent and a cfl bulb setup. My problem is my oldest plant out of eight ( i grew way too tall) is in it's 5-6 wk of flowering and I can't get light to the top... i can't raise the bulbs higher because they're already burning the leaves on the cola (because of the height) I've tried bending it, but there's so much strectching that their really isn't any where to tie it down due to the height, space, risk of burning new leaves, and losing light to the rest of my plants that are much more smaller and healthier. the buds are slightly amber but not as ripe as they should be imo. ANY OPINIONS??

Hmm ya know man i think i would just take her off. Its just keeping light from the ones you grew right. I would love to see a pic but IMO its better to put your attention towards the other plants rather than one main cola.

EDIT: I just say the pics. Dude you must have some serous sativas. Those plants do not look like they have been flowering for 5-6 weeks. You should already see some larger nugs. That plant might take weeks and weeks of flowering until its done. Do you know the strain??

I would just watch her but it could grew even bigger. If it gets to big i would pull her out.

if they are in pots you can move the light up over top of the bigger one and raisethe little ones on a stool or shelf

you can top it. it won't produce as well but you can do it. i'd try like hell to lst it somehow first tho. good luck!

I wish i could do that but ..there is no more room at the top of the cab to set up the light. like i said i'd bend it. but ..it'll take up too much light. It's ten minutes till bedtime ...ill try and take a pic QUICK so you can see how ripe

dude you can bend the hell out of her and make it tight do like and s bend to add inches of hight to it iv seen you can brake it and bend it over takes lil time and stress but will let the thing bud so you dont just pul it and kill the cola gl

I hear ya ...i know it's no where near ready! btw. it's a cfl grow so I'm not sure if that's why i have the popcorn bud effect. <shit forgot to post pics of all of em> but i let this veg till it was almost two feet hence the size ..like i said it's my first time.. but all the info and opinions are appreciated.

tied her down today ... well actually tied her to a side pole in the tent about as far as she could bend without breaking... it was a great way to bring light to the lower branches.. but i still don't think it'll grow to its full potential. It's still missing out on light because of the height.
