i used molasses for the sugars and starches. its easy for the plant to absorb and it will make them swell up a bit. it wont burn them to my knowledge. and after you flush before harvest, gives lots of molasses. your buds will just take most of it up and you will get nice fatty nugs filled with sugars. hah kinda sorta. the leaves i notice definately fatten up with this method.
i use about 1-2 TBS of molasses and at the last week or 2, depending on hydro or soil, i use about 2-3TBS.
you can buy some "grandmas molasses" in a yellow labeled jar i think from like ace hardware maybe. although this last harvest i got this stuff from a hydro store called molasses thats in a gallon jug that i think works very well. its like $20 for the gallon
