Amazing setup and grow. Just one question
Which can filter is that? Also how big of a fan are you running with it?

HA-LAY-LU-YA!!!if there is a heaven,it's in your basement!atleast in my opinion.
very curious on your hydrobill, gotta be a nice one!
and as they say aslong as you pay your bill and keep stanks away you'll be good.
i think with your setup costing about 20 g's, your harvest will pay for that twice over atleast.
thinking of renting a place on the other side of town to start up a sister grow?(jk, but if for real your rolling in scrilla, and next chop will be alot nicer on the wallet)
I wish i had your situation on my hands.you need to buy a trimming machine, it's worth $500 to not have arthritis and save hour and hours of trimming.
if your doing this by hand(even with 2- 4 ppl.) thats insane, goodluck trooper!
keepup the most impressive grow ive witnesses!!goodluck and keep up the goodwork!

I'm transplanting into smart pots tomorrow and stoked about it. Is this your first time using them? Noticeable difference? Is there a smart pot forum or any other smart pot info out there I should know about (other than the co. website)?
Thanks.

A beautiful growroom in a beautiful state for sure.

I live in a state that still has not jumped on board yet, but it does not bother me as we all have the plant as an inheritance and you can have No Fear and you will not bring Fear to the door.

I drove a Big Rig for many years before I came home for good and Oregon was like my second home.

Forget the main interstates.....give me the backroads of Oregon any day to travel and see the wonderous beauty.

Washington is beautiful also, but there is something about Oregon and the people are just as down howm and redneck as us southern's...Lol.

Be Blessed and Good Luck,

I don't like the smart pots MAYBE for a flood table set-up they would be good. In my experience with them they dry out too fast and are really hard to water evenly.

I'm trying to understand how you are handling intake/exhaust/Co2. From the looks of it, you are going with a sealed room, and not exhausting at all. Is this correct? I compiled a list of equipment for a vendor, and he is insisting that I need to have fans for intake and exhaust. Thats the way I've done it in the past, but if you are going with a sealed room approach, it seems to be working. IF this is the case, is your air con unit intake/exhaust plugged into the wall and drawing air from a separate room? Please advise....I'm on the verge of buying all my equip, and want to replicate what you've done here.

Thanks!

i don't know exactly what they are called 'cuz i don't have one... but ur looking for and needing a 'split hose' a.c. unit; one that doesn't actually displace any of the air in the room to the outdoors. Unless ur running cooltubes or glassed fixtures with ductwork, it's going to have to be a mammoth depending upon how many lights ur running.

Riz? Shady? Time flies when ur having fun, eh? :D

How about a little 'sumpin 'sumpin... you gotta be gettin closer to the harvest date.

Yep..We're planning on using Xtrasun 6" enclosed lights, with 8 inch inline fans at the start and finish of the run tapered down with 8" to 6" ducting.

I still expect some serious heat, but 2 of these ac units should do the trick. http://wallmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5799323

I can't believe I missed this grow. Mad props on your detailed and clean set-up. This may be the most impressive I have seen any of the forums I am on. Your basically growing outdoor plants inside. I don't know if you have seen jackass set-up, but he is running 10,000 wts too.. not sure if he is still on riu anymore. Anyway, don't mean to run-n in your journal, but everything looks amazing!!:clap::clap:

Unless i missed something, a couple of those a.c. units are worthless my friend. That is not a 'split hose' unit. Just a normal unit that displaces almost twice the amount of air that it cools. You'd litterally be better off having a 1000+ cfm fan at the peak of the room and just exhausting the air in the room continuously, as if it were a greenhouse - because that what those a.c. units do anyways. They replace a ridiculous amount of air and blow it directly outside. You need to find the 'split hose' type a.c. units if you are going to run a sealed room with co2. You can run co2 w/o having a sealed room, but you'd have to cycle the co2 on and off opposite the main room exhaust.

I have a 12,000 btu portable a.c. unit myself... it was just a waste of electricity. And a couple of 8,000 btu's as well. I still use one in the clone room (where there are only flouro's) - but they are crap for a flower room with any real wattage.

Riz,
Thank you for sharing. Bad ass. Just read the whole journal (hours of reading). Hope all is well and wish you 100% recovery from surgery.

To the haters and attention whores... GTFO!

I hated not finding the answer to your Hydrogen Pro issues. I would love to understand if it was truly as simple as getting unlucky with the flow valve.

And THANK YOU! again! I wanted to do soil, but the thought of watering kicked my but... I may very well to a drain system inspired by yours.
