Root rot because of organic nutrients??

Hi .. i recently suffered root rot, thus causing 2 plants to die.

I believe it's because of the organic nutrients (Iguana Juice).

I think that if i had used SYNTHETIC nutrients, i would have less chance of infecting the roots.

From now on, i will use organic nutrients only for soil.

Anyone concur???

thanks bubbler king.. it really helps.

But i don't understand how only 2 out of 4 plants which are getting the SAME water can die.

Know what i mean? how can this happen? Shouldn't all 4 plants die if they're getting the same fucked-up water?

Root rot is a fungus, called pythium, and it will grow in your res when the temp is above 80. Keep your res temp below 80 and you won't have fungus.
