My Healthcare Solution.

This is very simple.

Allow anyone in America to practice medicine, in other words make it so nobody needs a license to practice medicine. that way the good "doctors" or healers will succeed and the rest of the medical industry will do things the way these good healers, which will lead to lower prices because of competition.

and for those who don't trust non licensed doctors there will always be licensed doctors.

the solution is not bigger government its smaller

thank you.

Single payer or universal health care, for everyone in this country.

can you truly send someone (a human being) away from the hospital that needs medical attention? arent we a civilized nation?

We used to have charity hospitals.
The Churches used to run hospitals.
Thats what we need now.

Also good idea about deregulating doctors.

yes, just what we need, more govt. notice how you didnt even think outside the box you just screamed "GIVE ME MORE GOVT".

the reason we are here is because of too much govt in medicine. its not rocket science. we need entreprenuers to come up with solutions not beauracrats.

entreprenuers got us $4 prescriptions at walmart and other pharmacies. some places have put nurses in walk in clinics.

there are a kazzillion things that could be done. but remember, this is not about healthcare, its about power. if it was about healthcare we wouldnt be spending a couple trillion dollars and ending up with some 23 million still uninsured after 2019. the whole thing is a bate and switch.

BTW no one is sent away from a hospital. they must be treated. they may want a boob job and not get it, but if they are hit by a car, or baseball, they will be seen.

What if "everyone" doesn't want to participate? Can you truly send someone to jail for saying no thanks?
Aren't we a civilized nation?

So, please accept my appologizes and my mis-spellings of words and allow me to continue...

Yes we do need competition.
But a government run plan is not competition.
How can it be it can rely on nearly bottomless founts of government cash.
Whereas a free market corperation has no printing press of its own.
How can we have competition when insurance companies
can pick and choose amungst themselves who will control the markets in X region.

Really the competition should be between the doctors and hospitals.
To lower costs and deliver the best services.
Middlemen both government and private companies get in the way of that.
IMO we have really over-thought the plubbing on healthcare.

We send people to jail all the time for saying no thanks..
-No thanks to car insurance--oh go to jail
-No thanks to a license--oh go to jail
-No thanks to keeping your child in a car seat--oh go to jail
(the last one is a little extreme, but an example nontheless)
the list could go on and on, but I think you get the point...how come nobody is bitching about any of these laws that the government has put in place that put people in jail for saying "no thanks"

I mean I don't know the solution to the healthcare issue, but I do know that these laws were put in place to help protect people...and insurance companies(both car and health) are quite corrupt and really not looking out for your well-being, but looking more at the bottom dollar and how to increase profit margin, and I'm sorry but anybody or any corporation that is in it for the money is not in it to help you or me or anyone for that matter...

So what makes us civilized?..making a perfectly beautiful plant that occurs naturally illegal..I think not..and we have been doing that for a lot longer than trying to figure out a solution to our failing healthcare system

Do I need a government functionary telling me he will throw me in jail for not wearing a seatbelt.
Fuck that its none of your damn buisness.
Busy-bodies Jeez spare me.
Always with the "Its for your own good."
Thats what Hitlers Men told the Jews going into the "Showers"
"You have lice, you need a shower, its for your own good."
You know whats for my own good?
You a mind reader?
Oh, that pisses me off.

There's way too much money in health care for any real reform.

Why does an average heart transplant cost $.5M just for the surgical procedure? With donated parts.

It's like trying to legalize cannabis. There's way too much money in it now, on both sides of the law, that you're fighting against to change.

I do not get your point. Are you in favor of more Nanny State ?

No, I'm not in favor of a more "Nanny State", my point is that I don't think that it matters whether a law states that you must carry a certain type of insurance or not grow a certain type of plant...we are always being told what to do in one form or another..it's been that way for the most of us the bulk of our life, and will continue to be that way for most of the rest of our life...However, the cold hard truth is that "we, as in us" already do whatever it is we want, regardless of government laws and regulations, otherwise you wouldn't be on this site..correct? I mean I don't like being told that I have to do something that I myself have not decided independently just like most people...But I do like trying to figure out a way to beat the system or find a way around it...But I don't think the healthcare insurance issue or the inability to grow the herb enforced upon us through our government's actions really have that much pull on what we do...we will always find a way..we will always adapt or move on or blantantly disobey the laws put forth in order to provide ourselves and family what we deem necessary as individual liberties...it's been that way for the majority of people, most of their lives, and will continue to be that way for the majority of people for the rest of their lives..:peace:

^^^ I don't think we always do what we want to do, although I believe we should be able to as long as nobody is being harmed. There have been dificult times when I weigh the consequences of freedom versus obedient compliance and reluctantly go along with something I don't agree with. It is the threat of the consequence that makes me do it, not any intrinsic value I recognize from the action. That, is clearly extortion.

In each case where I knuckled under, I've recognized the coercive nature of government and felt like a subject rather than a free person. If a person looked around they would certainly see many examples of this where on a daily basis compliance is demanded, as you've pointed out. ,

Thank you for the clarification above also. I wasn't sure where you stood, now I do.
